Sign off

Analog

At 11:50 PM, Fox Broadcasting Company ceases programming to show a 9 minute video, with a soundtrack that plays relaxing sounds and music.

"Regular programming has been paused until 6AM the next day, because this station will be signing off in approximately 10 minutes. For now, let's relax for a while with soothing sounds and sleepy music, shall we?" - A male or female narrating the text above before the soundtrack.

9 minutes later, the sign off of PARL Channel 9 begins as the CEO of Fox Corporation (Lachlan Murdoch) says goodbye to the viewer(s), before making a TV shutting off effect. 15 seconds after that, a color bars test pattern appears on screen, indicating that the station's signal had been cut off temporarily.

This sign off version lasted until June 10, 2008, when all analog transmissions in the United Leaps permanently shutdown and merged into digital signals.
