The Nintendo 4DS is a handheld gaming system made by Nintendo. It was released on July 6, 2020. It is the successor of the Nintendo 3DS.

It was announced by Nintendo on May 9, 2020.

Production[]

Since 2018, there were multiple rumors that Nintendo would be releasing the Nintendo 4DS. Nintendo made a tweet saying “We have a Nintendo 3DS surprise...” on April 8, 2019.

Production for the system has been known since August 2019. Production for the first games of the system has been known since July 2019.
