The New World ostrich is an ostrich that lives in deserts, scrublands, savannahs, grasslands, forests, swamps, cities, towns, urban areas, and suburbs of North America. They resemble its closest relative (the African ostrich), but with slightly thicker feathers on their heads, necks, and legs than most other ostriches. They can also tolerate very well with human activities.
