In 1998, the channel was launched as '''TV6 Nature/Action World/Gameboy''' and splitting into 3 programming blocks called TV6 Nature, TV6 Action and Gameboy.
In 1994 Kinnevik started TV6 as a complement to TV3. The new channel was then profiled as "the female channel".
 
Mixing the program that the channel aired were the American talk show Ricki Lake, healthcare programs, feature films and various miniseries and seed operators countries ''The Young and the Restless, and Dynasty.'' A few individual productions were also made in the channel, a bland other program Much more men, where easily dressed Swedish men showed up. Channel manager during this time was Brita Sohlberg.
