Viasat Nature/Crime/Gameboy is a British-American television channel, the channel is operated under a joint venture between ViacomCBS (67%), Viasat World LTD (57%), WarnerMedia (47%), BBC (34%), ITV plc (25%) and Disney Channels Worldwide (20%).
History
1994-1996
On July 1, 1994, Viasat Nature/Crime/Gameboy was launched as movie premium network called Showtime, owned by Viacom (now ViacomCBS), Time Warner (now WarnerMedia) and Kinnevik (now Modern Times Group), with it's first broadcast of the channel, A Bronx Tale (1993).
In the early times, Showtime in Sweden shows American length-movies, sports programming like UEFA Champions League and National Hockey League, and original programming that are from Showtime USA.
1996-1998
In 1996, Showtime Sweden rebranded to TV3+ Sweden, which the channel would now broadcast programming like Walker, Texas Ranger, Hawaii Five-O (1968 TV series), The Simpsons, The Larry Sanders Show and, Seinfeld and Mickey Spillane's Mike Hammer.
