Summary

The film concerns six 18 year old youths from Barslow High, California who are avid fans of the 70's and 80's horror movies as opposed to the recent horror movies of the 90's up until now.

The group of youths come to awaken in an abandoned hotel with monsters after them based on classic horror movie antagonists from the 70's to 80's horror movie classics.

Plot

The film begins with youth Siskel at Barslow High rounding up his friends.

First he comes and Amanda Corliss and Brad Travers, who are together on a school hill smoking, they at first mistake him to be a teacher and quickly put their cigarettes out but upon seeing who it is get up and rush forward.

They then come to Samantha Pomeranz who is in Gym Class and collect her as Siskel tells the Gym Coach Principal Pewter has asked them to come get her for him.

The now group of four come and get Jenna Puig who is running track and tell the track coach Lazenby the same thing they had for the gym coach.

Then finally Jenna's boyfriend Martin who is in football practice and whom they pull the same routine on the football coach.

The group then rush to their lockers and pull out their phones and all their stuff along with their bags.

They run up the stairs to the school student parking lot when they are stopped by the creepy janitor of the school who tells them something is not right with them, and that they are all going to die.

Siskel tells him whatever gramps as the group rushes off in Martin's jeep.

They stop at all their houses to collect their luggage and say goodbye to their parents as they are set for a road trip to attend a horror convention party in Boston commemorating the great horror classics of the 80's and 70's.

As night falls on their road trip they pass an abandoned creepy hotel and then two of the tyres of Martin's jeep blow out and they crash.

The group then awaken in a large square room unsure of where they are.

They look out a window and come to realize they are inside the abandoned hotel they had passed earlier and upon exploring are attacked by several different monsters.

Brad who was injured badly from the jeep accident rests for a minute and upon closes his eyes is prayed upon by a man on fire which attacks him and he awakens with cuts over his body.

Amanda, Samantha and Jenna are attacked by a Chainsaw wielding maniac wearing dirty overalls and a face mask who they lock out with two sliding doors which he proceeds to chainsaw through.

Martin and Siskel are attacked by a hockey masked maniac carrying a machete, axe and meat clever.

The group escape their attackers and jump into a hotel elevator taking them up to the Penthouse floors at the top of the building.
