Money Required is the first episode of ExplodingTNT ever. It first aired on October 14, 1996 on the TV channel Null.

Summary

Notch does not allow ExplodingTNT to play Minecraft if he doesn’t have $49.99 money. When he finds out he doesn’t have enough money, the only option is to show Notch what things he will do when playing Minecraft but fails. However, he finds another trick to get into Minecraft.

Plot

The episode starts with ExplodingTNT browsing stuff on his very slow computer. When he looks on the top of the web page, he sees an advertisement reading "Buy Minecraft!" and with an image of the Minecraft logo. However, after he clicks on the advertisement, it says it costs $49.99! Shocked, he scrolls down to see the developer and goes to the Mojang office. After arriving at the office, ExplodingTNT has a big chat with Notch with the high price! Notch asks how much money he has and ExplodingTNT says he only has 2 cents.

However, Notch gives him a task that if he shows what things he will bring to Minecraft, he will give him access to Minecraft if he doesn't fail. ExplodingTNT shows he will bring a dirt house, expired milk, and smelly cheese to Minecraft. After he says that, he fails.

A depressed EplodingTNT about to leave doesn't give up hope, as he grabs his credit card to make sure there is actually only two cents, slides it on the credit card machine and he finds out the he got paid $100 money the minute he was about to leave. Happy, Notch grants ExplodingTNT access to Minecraft! Pink Sheep comes over saying he got access to Minecraft by hacking the credit card machine, and a shocked Pink Sheep later says he regrets saying that. Then, Notch angrily chases Pink Sheep, ending the episode.
