Mona Arizona, also known as Mona Arizona Eternally in its sixth and final season, is an American musical comedy television series created by Walt Disney Television. It focuses on Vanessa Stephens (portrayed by Kelly Bennett), who is a teenager living a double life as an average schoolgirl by day and as the famous recording artist Mona Arizona by night. The story follows the daily life of Stephens, her twin brothers, her friends, and her mother, and in later seasons, her cousin.

- Kelly Bennett as Vanessa Stephens/Mona Arizona, a teenage girl living in suburban Los Angeles who leads a double life as a pop star. In the beginning, only her mom and her siblings are in on the secret, but as the series progresses, more of her friends and family learn the truth. (Seasons 1 - 6)
- Dylan and Cole Sprouse as Chris and Jack Stephens, Vanessa's younger twin brothers, they're a major threat to Vanessa's secret as they're very talkative, but they respect their sister and try their best to keep their mouth shut. After season 1, the twins go to live in New York with their aunt to become actors and don't return to the show until the final episodes of season six. The twins left the series due to getting their own series on Disney Channel, The Suite Life of Zack and Cody. (Season 1, 6)
- Lola Caruso as Millie Martinez, Vanessa's best friend in school and a massive fan of Mona Arizona, when she first finds out Vanessa's secret, she stops talking to Vanessa as she feels betrayed. But when Vanessa offers Millie the chance of touring with her, they reconcile and Millie takes on the persona of Lucy Lucky to protect Vanessa's secret. (Seasons 1 - 5, 6)
- Dylan Hays as Vincent Mallory, a Mona Arizona superfan who goes to school with Vanessa and Millie, he is initially introduced as a love interest for Vanessa, but in a controversial storyline he comes out to Vanessa and they remain close friends. He was the first major LGBT character on Disney Channel. He was temporarily written out of the series after Dylan Hays was violently assaulted in a homophobic attack in late 2006. He returned to the series permanently in season 5. (Seasons 1 - 2, 3, 5 - 6)
- Sarah Kingston as Holly Hannah, Vanessa's cousin who comes to live in California after refusing to join an acting agency. She is unfazed by Vanessa's secret and just wants to live a normal life. She's the polar opposite of Vanessa, but they're close. Kingston was introduced to target a younger audience after Dylan and Cole Sprouse left the series. (Season 2 - 6)
- Mel Warren as Helen Stephens, the widowed mom of Vanessa and the twins. She was a singer in the late 80s but gave it up when she fell pregnant with Vanessa. She was married to Jake Stephens for nearly 20 years before he died suddenly before the series started. She's supportive of her daughter's career and wants what's best for her. (Seasons 1 - 6)
