Trivia/References[]
- Mikasa doesn't wear her signature red scarf throughout the entire film, most likely due to having amnesia after being freed from permafrost.
- Manny and Buck from the Ice Age franchise and the Colossal Titan make cameos in the film as Lyra's stuffed animals. Manny even made an appearance as part of the mammoth herd.
- A poster of The Black Sabretooth of Alberta and The Elephant's Child can be seen in Lyra's room when she was introducing the baby mammoth to the house.
- In the scene after Mikasa reconciles with Lyra, a Smilodon resembling Allias from The Chronicles of Animoria makes an appearance, although he tells them that they are not the same because he has the stripes and spots.
- This is also a nod to the featurette Allias and Puffin's City Adventures premiering before the actual film since they're made from the same studio. In addition, The Chronicles of Animoria 2 can be seen playing on TV.
- This is the third Attack on Titan spin-off as it only starred Mikasa in the film as a protagonist. The first two spin-offs were Junior High which is the anime and Smoke on Signal, which is from the live-action adaptation.
- While Mikasa is making dinner, she is singing a cover of "This Beautiful Cruel World" by Yōko Hikasa, this could be a nod that the song was playing at the end of the anime.
