Marquis tells Bond that he was never going to give it to Quantum and will take the money and sell the microdot again. Meanwhile, Baack having learnt of the other team, shoots some of them dead. Leiter confronts the guard and they engage in a violent fight at the edge of the mountain. Bond and Marquis engage in a fight, before Marquis sets off one of the explosions he had set up. The explosion distracts Baack, giving Leiter enough time to get the upper hand and fling Baack off the edge of the mountain to his death. Marquis gets in a car and drives away, before a pursuing Bond gives chase on a motorcycle and causes Marquis to crash. |
