McKeen is a character that appears in Trainz Northwest. He was introduced mid show and has become a major character since.
Description[]
McKeen is a McKeen Motor Car built in 1917. As a scrap engine, he was heavily rusted and deteriorated. He was branded for the Erie railroad and had visible rivets. When McKeen was restored, he appeared like new. He was repainted into a crimson red paint scheme with a brown roof and silver plow. He was branded for the Portland line and numbered 4001.
Portrayal In The Show[]
McKeen was discovered by Geep when he went to the smelters yard. He took pity on McKeen for his status as a scrap engine. Geep decided to save McKeen and snuck him out of the smelters yard. McKeen was then taken to the Wilsonville commuter rail yard to be restored to service. When McKeen was restored, he was given his own passenger line between Tigard and Portland. McKeen became friends with the other engines and became a regular on the show. Out of all the engines, McKeen has become closest to Rdc due to both engines being very old and being saved for continued service. McKeen is by far the oldest engine in the show, surpassing Rdc as the oldest engine since his introduction.
