Marysville Aviary

The entrance/exit of the Marysville Aviary.

The Marysville Aviary is a walkthrough aviary located near Ellis Lake in Marysville, California. It is one of the largest aviaries of the country, being able to house more than 500 species of birds and other animals. Inside of the building under the dome itself doesn't get artificial sunlight, and it gets natural light from the sun and the moon. Unlike most other public aviaries, the Marysville Aviary is free of admission, so it is for any guest, with or without money, and the aviary is funded by charities, crowdfunding, and partnership with major zoo programs.
