Mammal Beasts 3D is a 2013 American-British-Australian 3D computer animated drama comedy fantasy epic film directed by Gary Trousdale, Kirk Wise, John Stevenson and Mark Osborne, produced by Guillermo del Toro and story by Tab Murphy. The film tells the story of a prehistoric mammals trying to find a little attention when they embark on a journey into the ice age.
It features the voices of Michael J. Fox, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Kiefer Sutherland, Michael Wincott, Idris Elba, James Earl Jones and Hugo Weaving. The film had also been set in the prehistoric world on the coast of the ice age in the east current. It was originally going to have animals not talk which was similar to Homeward Bound, but they have them talk. It was similar to Walking with Beasts and Walking with Dinosaurs.
The film was released on February 15, 2013 in the USA and March 22, 2013 in Australia. It earned a million dollars and it opened weekend at the box office for its record breaking dollars in the highest grossing film of all time. It was distributed by Paramount Pictures and Warner Bros. Pictures and produced companies by Village Roadshow Pictures, Legendary Pictures, Animal Logic and BBC Films.

In June 2006, Paramount and Warner Bros. acquired film rights to BBC. In September 2006, before the release of Happy Feet, Animal Logic will become the film's company and the visual effects, in which it was digitally animated. In March 2007, shooting was wrapped into live action backgrounds like Dinosaur, but all of the animals are CGI.
In December 2007, the whole setting was filmed into real life setting and the shooting takes place in California, America, Australia, Africa and Antarctica.
