Magic Tree House 2 is a 2024 American animated musical mystery comedy film loosely based on the Magic Tree House book series by Mary Pope Osborne, produced by Dice Productions, and released by Walt Disney Pictures. It is directed by Doug Sweetland and Lynne Southerland and serves as the sequel to Magic Tree House (2018). The film features the voices of Thomas Barbusca, Francesca Capaldi (replacing Owen Laramore and Taylor Goll), Kathy Najimy, Danny DeVito, Lilimar, Jadah Marie Johnson, Tristan Pravong, Jahi Di'Allo Winston, Simon Pegg, Leslie Mann, and Barry Bostwick. In the film, Jack and Annie, now adults, move from Frog Creek, Pennsylania, to New York City, where they, Morgan la Fey, Merlin the Magician, and four new friends from college must uncover the mystery behind a criminal conspiracy, with the help of a detective from London named Sir Detective Cook.

In the United States, Magic Tree House 2 was projected to gross $199 million in its opening weekend. In the opening weekend, it grossed $292 million worldwide, including $107 million in its first day and $5 million from Thursday night previews. By the end of its theatrical run on August 18, 2024, it had grossed $555 million in North America and $875 million overseas, for a total of $1.430 billion. This was less than the $1.756 billion that the first film grossed, but was still a commercial success since it beat its $175 million budget.

The site's consensus reads, "Although Magic Tree House 2 may not live up to its 2018 predecessor's outstanding standards, it's still a strong continuation of Jack and Annie's adventures in the Magic Tree House". Metacritic, which uses a weighted average, assigned the film a grade of 79 out of 100 based on 39 critics, indicating "generally favorable" reviews. Audiences polled by CinemaScore gave it a grade of "A" on an A+ to F scale.
