Dr. Lucy Boyle is a tough, capable emergency attending. She is a confident, skilled doctor who treats her patients with the utmost care, no matter who they are. If she notices something suspicious going on, she never hesitates to act and to ensure safety and justice for her patients. Boyle is a single mother to a son after her boyfriend abandoned her after she became pregnant. Because of that, she often tackles head-on on any family member who willing abandons family members in their care at the hospital without a good reason, and ensures her patients will not be alone afterwards.
