Lorcan Darcy is the 2024 American psychological superhero science fiction thriller film directed by Lars Klevberg with Kimberly Peirce co-directing. Produced by Blumhouse Productions and distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures, the film is written by Barbara Curry, Isabelle Nuru Dayne, Lawrence D. Cohen and Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa. The film is a crossover and sequel of both Cillian Darcy and Lena the Jungle Girl. It's also the third installment of the Origin film series. It stars Nick Robinson as the titular character with Kevin Bacon as the main antagonist alongside Kiernan Shipka, Camila Mendes, Levi Miller, Coubie Smulders, Jason Issacs and Matt Smith.
Premise
The story follows Lorcan Darcy, a high school student, orphan and sole train survivor, discovers he has superpowers, and how he comes to the realization that a famed superhero, who was thought to have gone missing after an epic battle eighteen years ago, may in fact still be around and happens to be his biological father, in conjunction with Mayor James Benedict's plot for global domination.
