This is a list containing all of the Special and Fusion characters who appear in Super Smash Bros. Fusion Force. Players can fuse their favorite characters during gameplay if they have any of the following assist characters who are playable or not. These special characters can be revealed after using the correct fighter and either a spirit, a magical item or both. The player's special/fusion character will have visual effects for that character. Several characters can still be revealed after using either of the correct two spirits. Fusing characters is very similar to fusing two monsters to combine into one powerful monster when using the Polymerization card in the Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise.
