The full list of every kaiju that appears in the Netflix Original Series Godzilla: Monster Clash
ARCANE TOTEMS[]
Introduced in Season 1:[]
Godzilla:[]
The Arcane Totem of Atomic Destruction, a direct consequence of human folly and arrogance. Godzilla attacked Tokyo in 1954, causing massive destruction that shook Japan for a time, but the international media, especially the American media, covered up everything related to the event and reported it as a tornado that passed through the city and caused the destruction. All Godzilla desires is love and acceptance, but thanks to his absurd size and power, he destroys everything in his path, thus being feared and hated by humanity, which leads him into a spiral of hatred and revenge against the human race. Godzilla is considered a kind of prophet or messianic figure by other terrestrial monsters, especially those native to the Hollow Earth. Thus, Godzilla gained allies and finally achieved the love and friendship he always sought.
Rodan:[]
The Arcane Totem of Volcanic Eruptions, Rodan was transformed into a totem by the Seatopians with the goal of being the ultimate weapon to destroy Godzilla, but instead he fled to the surface in search of freedom. When the two reunited, Rodan swore total reverence to Godzilla, recognizing him as King of Monsters simply by sensing his aura. Godzilla would soon recognize Rodan not only as an ally, but also as a very valuable friend, as they are the only ones who truly understand each other's pain.
Mothra:[]
The Arcane Totem of Life, responsible for protecting life on Earth from any global catastrophe, is a benevolent being of pure goodness and compassion with great divine powers. Whenever the world is threatened by a global calamity, the Shobijin are tasked with collecting a female moth egg from the depths of Infant Island, in order to perform the Totemic Ritual with the moth still inside the egg. This egg grows to an enormous size once the ritual is completed, giving birth to a huge caterpillar that, within a few days, will enter a cocoon and emerge as a majestic and glorious giant moth. Every time a Mothra is destroyed or completes its cycle, its consciousness and memories are sent and implanted into the Arcane Spirit of Life, which grants these memories to the new Mothra still inside the egg. In this way, all Mothras are the same being reincarnating in new bodies, instead of different individuals. During his sleep, Godzilla was embraced by Mothra Prime, who calmed him and showed him peace.
Megaguirus:[]
The Arcane Totem of Plagues, created by the Seatopians from a Meganula to finish the job Rodan refused to do. Like the Plague Totem, Megaguirus has the ability to command a huge swarm of meganulons and meganulas to infest the planet. Like Rodan, Megaguirus is extremely agile and fast, with the ability to fire energy blasts from its stinger that clash head-on with Rodan's fiery breath.
YOG MUTANTS[]
Anguirus:[]
One of the three kaiju created by the YOG-Pathogen, a biological weapon created by Red Bamboo to transform exotic animals into colossal mutant aberrations. Being a recently converted kaiju, Anguirus is not as intelligent as the others, being intellectually closer to a dog. But this makes him extremely loyal to those who offer him food and safety. Anguirus instinctively follows Godzilla wherever he goes, always protecting him and fighting by his side, thus becoming his closest ally.
Kamacuras:[]
Another mutation of the YOG-Pathogen, a giant praying mantis with camouflage abilities. Kamacuras was controlled by Gezora to eliminate Godzilla. Two more Kamacuras were created by Gezora to fight Godzilla and Anguirus, after Anguirus broke free from Gezora's control and joined Godzilla.
Gezora:[]
An unidentified species of cephalopod that transformed into a massive psychic kaiju after being infected with the YOG-Pathogen. Upon infection, Gezora became a kind of host for the consciousness of the alien creature that originated the pathogen, and began planning to spread the pathogen to terraform Earth. Gezora's most notable abilities are telekinesis, telepathy (which he uses to control the minds of other kaiju, such as Anguirus and Kamacuras), and the ability to manipulate the YOG-Pathogen to create more mutant kaiju.
GLADIATOR BEASTS OF THE UNDERREALM[]
Introduced in Season 1:[]
Varan:[]
One of the alpha beasts of the Sub-Kingdom, a huge, slender, quadrupedal reptile with a body covered in sharp spines, which it can fire at its opponents, and endowed with membranes between its arms and legs that grant it the ability to glide. Varan was captured by the Seatopians and forced to fight in gladiatorial arenas to provide entertainment for the Seatopian people, until Godzilla freed him. After being freed by Godzilla, Varan swore loyalty to him, joining his pack.
Baragon:[]
The youngest kaiju ever recorded and the newest of Godzilla's Apostles, a baby Talpunsaurus (a species of burrowing reptiles with heat-related properties from the Sub-Kingdom). Baragon was separated from his brood by the Seatopians, who, like Varan, forced him to fight in gladiatorial arenas for the entertainment of the Seatopian people. Baragon was pitted against Anguirus, and later the two would develop a sincere friendship. Being just a baby, Baragon is innocent and naive, but that doesn't stop him from giving much larger kaiju a run for their money.
ABYSSAL DEMONS[]
Introduced in Season 1:[]
Kumonga:[]
A demonic entity from the dimension known only as "The Abyss." Kumonga was first summoned to our world by a Chinese general with the goal of conjuring something that could annihilate the rival army. In modern times, Kumonga has been summoned to our world by alchemists from Red Bamboo.
RED BAMBOO CREATIONS[]
Introduced in Season 1:[]
Project Ares/MechaGodzilla:[]
Built around the bones of the kujisaurus that served as the Arcane Totem of War, Ares (or MechaGodzilla, as it was nicknamed by the members of H.E.A.T.) is considered the most powerful weapon ever created by Red Bamboo. Ares was soon taken over by Enki, Red Bamboo's rogue AI, who declared that he would exterminate all of humanity as a way to purify the Earth.
G.D.F. ROBOTS[]
Introduced in Season 1:[]
Jet Jaguar:[]
A powerful automated mecha controlled by the consciousness of J-73, capable of fighting any kaiju on equal terms.
M.O.G.U.E.R.A:[]
M.O.G.U.E.R.A (Mobile Operation Godzilla Universal Expert Robot Aero-type) is a powerful mecha created by the GDF to fight kaiju alongside Jet Jaguar and the Apostles of Godzilla.
Kiryu:[]
After Enki's defeat, Ares/MechaGodzilla was apprehended by the GDF, who rebuilt it into a Mecha that could be used to defend humanity from destructive kaiju, piloted by Erica.
ALIEN THREATS[]
Introduced in Season 1:[]
Gigan:[]
One of Ghidorah's heralds, an extremely sadistic and bloodthirsty monster, armed to the teeth (literally) with various types of blades and other sharp weapons to mutilate and torture his adversaries. Gigan was just a normal animal from an alien planet, possibly part of the alpha predator race of its fauna, until his planet was invaded by Ghidorah, who modified him and transformed him into a techno-organic combat machine.
Megalon:[]
One of the strongest and most resilient kaiju ever recorded in history. While Gigan is pragmatic and meticulous, Megalon is brutal and impulsive, less concerned with making the enemy suffer and feel pain and more focused on simply crushing the opponent once and for all and returning to rest. Megalon was just a normal animal from an alien planet, part of a race of semi-humanoid arthropods that lived underground, until his planet was invaded by Ghidorah, who modified him and transformed him into a colossal techno-organic war tank.
Vortaak:[]
Possessing claws and teeth made of absurdly sharp steel, capable of cutting through anything imaginable, the tentacles on its back are not only used as powerful lethal whips, but blades with lethal poisons can also be fired from their tips. Vortaak was merely the carcass of a normal animal from an alien planet, likely killed by some larger creature, until its planet was invaded by Ghidorah, who reanimated its body, transforming it into a techno-organic abomination and one of its heralds.
Bagorah:[]
Bagorah is Ghidorah's air support, a relentless winged beast capable of teleportation and unleashing supersonic roars that stun any opponent. It also possesses a tail with a stinger at the tip, a stinger capable of delivering powerful electric shocks to its adversary. Bagorah was once just a normal animal from an alien planet, part of a race of bat-like winged mammals that lived in the densest and most oppressive jungles of its planet, until its planet was invaded by Ghidorah, who modified it and transformed it into its air support.
Wargilgar:[]
Wargilgar is responsible for incinerizing the remains of its invasions. Essentially a massive incinerator tower, Wargilgar is a difficult opponent to approach without getting burned. In addition to its flames, Wargilgar also possesses powerful claws, similar to those of crabs or lobsters, capable of crushing and shattering steel as if it were styrofoam. Wargilgar was once just a normal animal from an alien planet, part of a race of crustaceans that lived in the lava oceans of its planet, until its planet was invaded by Ghidorah, who modified it and transformed it into a walking flamethrower.
Orga:[]
The only herald of Ghidorah created directly by him, constructed from the DNA of various members of the local fauna, especially predators. By far the most powerful herald of Ghidorah, possessing a terrifying regenerative ability, being virtually indestructible, and also possessing a type of organic cannon on its shoulder, capable of firing an energy beam as powerful as Godzilla's Atomic Breath. In its initial stage, Orga is a type of living flying saucer made of liquid metal, which creates several miniature versions of itself (separated into two types; with tentacles and with insect legs) that spread across the planet, collecting the DNA of the most powerful and formidable species on the invaded planet. When Orga receives the collected DNA, it transforms into a genetic monstrosity, a being that mixes all the beings whose DNA was harvested. Once Orga is reunited with Ghidorah, he transfers all the DNA collected by his probes directly to Ghidorah so that he can add those species to his army. After this process is complete, Orga returns to his flying saucer form.
CELESTIALS[]
Introduced in Season 1:[]
King Ghidorah:[]
A powerful corrupted Celestial that travels from planet to planet destroying and assimilating civilizations and their technologies alongside its heralds. With each assimilated civilization, the army it controls with its hive mind grows larger. At some point in history, Ghidorah's body was destroyed by the Galactic Guardian Beast known as King Caesar, with its three "heads" lost throughout the universe. Since then, its body has been reduced to a simple giant brain with only 1% of its original power, and it has wandered through space searching for its three heads to rebuild its reign of terror, until finally finding them here on Earth.
