• Holland Roden as Stacy Roberts- Stacy is nice and popular. There is a love triangle between her, Daniel and Tyler. Her rival is Maggie.

• Grey Damon as Daniel Walker- Stacy's boyfriend, he doesn't like Tyler and doesn't want Stacy around Tyler.

• Amadeus Serafini as Tyler Rogers- Stacy's ex-boyfriend, he still loves Stacy and wants to be with her.

• Naomi Scott as Christine "Chris" Sanders- Stacy's best friend, she was abused when she was little but her parents were sent to jail. She now lives with Stacy and was Greg's girlfriend. She also has to deal with her ex-boyfriend Marcus.

• Taissa Farmiga as Rebecca Weaver- Rebecca is an outcast in school and is going through depression. She falls in love with Justin.

• Paloma Kwiatkowski as Blake Monroe- Blake is an outcast and starts having feelings for Josh. Her mother dies from cancer and is comforted by Josh.

• Brenton Thwaites as Sam Patterson- Sam is a sophomore in high school who is trying to figure out his sexuality and starts to have feelings for Joey.

• Hayden Panettiere as Maggie Reynolds- Maggie is Stacy's rival, she thinks she is better than Stacy and hates her. She was also bullied when she was little.

• Ian Nelson as Josh Mitchell- Josh is a basketball player and friends with Blake but starts having feelings for her.

• Joel Courtney as John Taylor- John is the older brother of Thomas and a sophomore in high school. He takes care of his younger brother and his alcoholic mother.

• Marc Indelicato as Joey Williams- Joey is a sophomore in high school who tries to bring out the other side of Sam. He hooked up with Sam at a party and starts to have feelings for him.

• Carlson Young as Lindsey King- Lindsey is a sophomore in high school who has feelings for her gay best friend Nathan.

• Israel Broussard as Justin Davis- Justin is a sophomore in high school who is going through depression. He starts to have feelings for Rebecca.

• Connor Jessup as Nathan Morgan- Nathan is a sophomore in high school and Lindsey's best friend who is gay and is unaware of Lindsey's feelings for him.

• Chris Zylka as Ryan Clarkson- Ryan is Ronnie's best friend and starts to have feelings for Trish.

• Lindsey Shaw as Patricia "Trish" Benson- Trish is a singer and starts to have feelings for Ryan.

• Trevor Jackson as Ronnie White- Ryan's best friend and he starts to have feelings for Cassidy.

• Skyler Samuels as Cassidy Scott- The new girl at school who is very shy, is nice to people and doesn't have too much fun until she meets Ronnie.

• Booboo Stewart as Aaron Jackson- Aaron is the school player and plays guitar. He wants to join the Army when he gets out of high school. His brother died while at war and wants to honor him by going.

• Nico Tortorella as Seth Parker- Daniel's best friend, his parents died in a car crash and lives with his grandparents. He is the quarterback for the football team.
