Laukik (लौकिक), also known as Laukik Dharm (लौकिक धर्म) or Laukikism, is the traditional polytheistic religion of the Taraki peoples. Followers are called Laukiki (लौकिकी).

The holy text of Laukik is a collection of books known as the Veda (वेद).

The Tridevi are also considered personifications of the aspects of Adi Parashakti.

Laukiki believe that they reside in the heavens all the gods have an avatar (अवतार) in the physical world.

Satvik Prajjadhya & the Abjaksan of Tarak

Satvik Prajjadhya (सात्विक प्रज्जाध्या), the first abjaksan of Tarak, is believed to be the first avatar of Ganesha, the god of wisdom, in the physical world. Consequently and traditionally, subsequent abjaksan since are anointed the avatar of Ganesha in the physical world.
