The kangaron (scientific name: Macropus akangaron), also known as the akangaron or the kangaroo rat, was a small macropod related to the kangaroo, wallaby and wallaroo. It was famous for the Kamikaze maneuver performed by Bocarter Kamikaze, the alpha male of the Kamikaze population, the last living population of the kangarons during the Kamikaze War in 1921, which the Kamikazes lost to the only natural predator of the kangaron, the also-now-extinct pouchbird. Kangarons looked like rats with short tails, long feet and (in females only) pouches. The word "kangaron" comes from the Tasmansmens words "akāŋ" (meaning "sugar glider") and "arón" (meaning "flightless") due to it looking slightly like a sugar glider without its wings. (WIP)
