Justice League Heroes is a 2006 animated TV mini-series based on the DC Comics superhero team Justice League.
An army of vicious robots, controlled by Braniac, lead an attack on S.T.A.R. Labs. J'onn Jonzz, the Martian Manhunter, witnesses the attack from the Watchtower and alerts Superman and Batman, who foil the attack together. They enter the labs and encounter Braniac, who they defeat and find that it is merely a robotic duplicate. Batman realises they have been diverted; the true intention was to attack the Vaults. The villains are found to have stolen Kryptonian DNA and a chunk of meteorite.
Meanwhile, Martian Manhunter and Zatanna encounter Queen Bee and her drones, who are attacking Metropolis. At the same time, the Key tries to hijack nuclear missiles but is stopped by Green Lantern John Stewart and the Flash. Zatanna and Martian Manhunter defeat Queen Bee, allowing Zatanna to team up against Killer Frost. However, Braniac causes a worldwide communications blockout and the missile is fired at Mars, freeing the White Martians. Martian Manhunter and Superman race to Mars to stop them from invading. Braniac once again uses this to his advantage and steals White Martian equipment before freeing Gorilla Grodd. Wonder Woman and Superman battle some of the White Martians who have escaped Mars while the rest of the League confronts Grodd.
On the Watchtower, Martian Manhunter is attacked by Doomsday and captured. Braniac breaks into the Watchtower and steals a Mother Box. The League regroups on Earth before storming the Watchtower, defeating Doomsday and freeing Martian Manhunter.
The League arrives at Braniac's lair and battle him. Suddenly, the Mother Box activates and Braniac is absorbed into Darkseid, escaping from an interdimensional prison. Darkseid reveals that he had manipulated Braniac all along before banishing the League, bar Superman, to another dimension. He then reshapes Earth and the new Apokolips. Superman is imprisoned.
The League wander the interdimensional wasteland and manage to find a way out. They return to the devastated Earth and rescue Superman. The League then journeys to Darkseid's throne room and after a fierce battle, they use the Mother Box to reimprison the villain.
The team regroup on the Watchtower and Batman tells them that should such a threat ever arise again, they will be there to protect Earth.
