Here are horror films that ended in a neutral way.
- Apocalypse - The main character Townley (Adam Sandler) ends up being traveled to 2001 Washington D.C. He sees the statue of Abraham Lincoln and realizes the apocalypse hasn't happen. However, police and firefighters come and surround him while he puts his hands up. The end credits text implies that he is sent to a mental hospital but is safe. However, it is later revealed he disappeared when he claims their can't be two of him.
- Homicidal Liu - Liu manages to defeat his Jeff, has him sent to a mental institute out of mercy, and becomes famous for stopping a serial killer but many people are still dead, Jeff still has a cult, Lyra still has a grudge against her own brother, and Jane is still plotting to kill Jeff.
- Slender 2: The Arrival - Dylan Mitchell jump scared by Kate and then later attacked (off-screen). After the jump scare, Ryder is seen hiding in fear but he is found and taken away by Kate. The Slenderman watches this with glee and jump scares the camera. The end credits explain that Ryder is most likely living in Kate's house. Nobody knows what happened to Dylan but don't care since she was mean, cruel, and abusive. Also, her abuse was posted online and she became the most hated person in her town. However, Bryan's family is left in mournful sadness over Bryan's death and his little sister is most likely traumatized by it. On one hand, Ryder is with the killer of the movie and might get manipulated but on the other hand, his older sister was a selfish and abusive brat with no redeeming qualities who got what she deserved.
- Tales of Creepypasta - In the Play With Me segment, Sally gets revenge on her abusive uncle for killing her by killing him in a painful way and his crimes are exposed due to her secretly recording his confession but she still was murdered by him which left her parents mourning her death, blaming themselves for not doing something about it sooner, and not seeing her ever again. Slenderman invites her as one of his proxies but she is fortunately adopted by him and she is able to send Johnny to Hell for his crimes where he's left in a time loop of being killed by her for all of eternity.
- ATM 2: Attack at mini-mart - The killer is dead and David's name is cleared of all charges but there's a mysterious person out there who will most likely continue the killing spree.
- The Helper 2 - Marty escapes the fire but is saddened that his friend didn't make it. 1 year later, he comes across a mysterious man and walks away. However, the mysterious man walks in the library and attacks a librarian (off-screen). Marty hears this but makes a smart choice and walks away to avoid involvement.
