Hodge and Friends is a Malaysian series made by JayMeDino Productions, and is the first to debut in December. The series focuses on Hodge Wilkins, who is living with his new friends after his house burns down when he left the tea brewing for too long. It takes place in the village of Gachaville, where adventure always is around the corner. The series has a number of music videos, bumpers and shorts on the website and TV channel
Inspired by the video game Gacha studio: trouble trouble trouble, the series has had 10 crossovers with a bunch of cartoons and films in the JMD Archives. The first episode aired on tv in December, 14th 2014. It currently has 4 seasons and 192 episodes as of 2021.
Synopsis[]
Its been 10 years since the events of Gacha Life Twinkle and now Hodge Wilkins has taken on Jet Joel’s role as an apprentice of the almighty Kingsley The Cocker Spaniel. Join Hodge and his friends as they save the cracked and torn village of Gachaville from evil, and experiencing many fun mishaps in the process!

Heroes[]
- Hodge Wilkins - The main protagonist of the series. He is the energetic and talented brother of Sarah Wilkins, and has red hair. He is good friends with William Jefferson and Jack Daisy. He has a “naughty stuff” addiction, and wants to make all of his dreams come true. He is voiced by Gideon Modisett
- William Jefferson - He’s one of Hodge’s friends, and is good at guitar, photography, skateboarding, etc, and stays calm, although things don’t go the way he wants them to. He is voiced by Rob Rackstraw.
- Tamara Rose - She is the first member of the tooth fairies, and is Hodge’s best friend. She loves fashion, and took part in a fashion show each year, before she was kicked out by Mr. Strong due to being late for the runway, and ending up naked. She is voiced by Kazumi Evans.
- Sarah Wilkins - She’s the princess of one of the shows that take place during a fashion show, and takes Tamara’s spot. Her shoes look more athletic. She is voiced by Jo Wyatt.
- Jack Daisy - One of Hodge’s friends. Good at swinging on the swings, although he tries hard to snap his friends out of it. He is voiced by Scott Menville.
- Nick Calvin - One of the bullies, alongside Spartin, Martin and Foxy. He teases Hodge, Violet and Tamara into thinking about the party. He is voiced by Brian Mitchell, who also voices Quince.
- Quince Torch - The soldier of the outpost. He is good at war, and makes a good start and fresh to his hand. He is also voiced by Brian Mitchell.
- Kim Hoshizora - The ballerina of the japanese ballet show, that takes place in Kyoto. Her dream is to be rich and famous. She is voiced by Ashley Paige Albert.
- Violet Disho - The sleeper of one of Hodge’s Friends, and is lazy. She needs once a week to get up, although things get ready to go save her life. She is voiced by Christina Applegate.
Villains[]
- MetalOstic - A militaristic robot who wears a helmet with an ace of clubs playing card. He reveres Mrs. Wobble and likes to bully others and order the students around. According to his profile, he had accidentally glued his tin helmet to his scalp, though a couple of episodes show that it can be removed.
- Mrs. Wobble - The main antagonist of the show, and is a queen with a crown on her head. She is gluttonous, lazy, stupid and selfish. Her ego is also very fragile, often behaving like a spoiled child when things don’t go her way. A running gag in the show is that her palace is constantly being reduced to rubble by the various antics of both the kids and students.
- Devil Queen - The queen of the bling. She only comes out at night to kidnap anyone who is too naughty.
- Princess Punky - The show’s counterpart of Trixie The Halloween Fairy. She only appears in 8 episodes.
- The Darkne - A selfish man who likes to steal people’s things. He can also steal farts.
