Thomas finally loses his temper and angrily confronted the family for how they mistreated Lyn and Berna over the years.
Thomas Manchester:Can I ask you something?
Thomas Manchester: And as for you Aunt Beatrix. You are nothing but a cold hearted gold digger who only cared about herself! You're constantly treated your own children like crap and now look what you've done! They're gone! My cousins are gone and it's your fault! All they ever done for this family is to be the best they could ever be and we all ignored them because of you and grandma! You hated them because of what?! You were jealous of how your own father paid more attention to your daughters than you or the fact that granddad had made Berna heir to the family name on his deathbed and not you?! In case you have forgotten,They are what's left of Uncle Manny, the man you once loved before you married Uncle Six. I wondered how Uncle Manny might reacted if he had ever seen the way you treated your daughters?
Beatrix looked down in shame
Reginald Manchester:Now you're going too far. If you don't stop with this shenanigan, I'll have to punish you.
Thomas Manchester:Excuse me?! This is my way of punishing you! Families can make mistakes! I know that because you all made them all the time! But every single one of you messed up big time!
Reginald Manchester:Young man, don't you dare take that tone with us! Do you understand?
Thomas Manchester: (screams with his face turning dark crimson) SHUT UP! YOU ALL ARE THE WORST FAMILY EVER!
Beatrix Manchester: Will you two stop fighting?! Thomas, please just tell us how to fix this!
Shirley Manchester:Well, that's what those two get for being a disappointment to this family. Maybe they've finally learned that being half commoner is a sin among the upper class?
Beatrix Manchester:Thomas, we didn't meant for this to happen!
Thomas Manchester: If you really feel that way, apologize! I want you to apologize for everything! I love Lyn and Berna! They're my cousins! But because of grandma, they hated me! It's all because of this family! I always wondered why they never smiled at me, why we always teased them, why nobody ever listened. You all said they were being dramatic because of puberty. That This family only cares more about money than we do with family members
Reginald Manchester:THAT'S ENOUGH, THOMASON! FOR NOW ON, YOU'RE GROUNDED! AFTER EVERYTHING WE'VE DONE FOR YOU...YOU UNGRATEFUL CHILD! NOW GO UPSTAIRS AND I DON'T WANT HEAR OR SEE YOU FOR THE REST OF THE DAY!
Beatrix Manchester:(whispered)Reginald, don't be so harsh on him. He's your son.
Shirley Manchester:No, Reginald. You did the right thing.
Thomas Manchester:Shut up, grandma! Lyn and Berna needs more sympathy than I do. After all, they no longer live here because of you guys. Go take a good look in the mirror and see who really needs to be grounded. I may be a Manchester, but I ain't stupid to know what's right or wrong. AND THIS IS ALL WRONG!
Immediately, Beatrix broke down into a sobbing mess and leaned onto her brother for support.
Beatrix Manchester:This is my fault! Thomas hates me and now my own daughters left me!
Reginald Manchester:Shhh, they'll come back to us at some point.
Shirley Manchester:I hope not.
