The 62nd film produced by the studio, the film was directed by Carlos López Estrada and features the voices of Freddie Highmore, Dakota Blue Richards Daniel Huttlestone, Rebel Wilson, Patrick Stewart, Magda Szubanski, Chris O'Dowd, John Cleese, Chiwetel Ejiofor, and James McAvoy, and tells the story of an high school graduate who sets out to fulfill his dream of becoming a wizard by going to the wizarding college of Argovar.

High School Wizard was released on November 22, 2023, as the first film to use the Disney Dynamic Digital Sound format. The film received generally positive from critics, who praised the animation, voice performances, faithfulness to the fantasy genre, and respect for British culture. It has grossed over $1.7 billion worldwide, making it the highest-grossing film of 2023, the highest-grossing PG-rated film, the highest-grossing film from Walt Disney Animation Studios overall, and the highest-grossing animated film worldwide until Disney In The House 3 overtook the latter in 2028. It won the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature.
