The 18th film produced by the studio, the film was directed by John Stevenson and Mark Osborne and features the voices of Freddie Highmore, Dakota Blue Richards, Daniel Huttlestone, Rebel Wilson, Patrick Stewart, Magda Szubanski, Chris O'Dowd, John Cleese, Chiwetel Ejiofor, and James McAvoy. It tells the story of a teenager who goes to the wizard boarding school kingdom of Argovar to become the greatest wizard of all.
High School Wizard was released on February 4, 2022. The film received largely positive from critics and grossed over $745 million worldwide against a $175 million budget, becoming the fifth highest-grossing film of 2022. It was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature.
