High-Headed Wounder

A male high-headed wounder about to attract a mate.

A high-headed wounder (Microtroodon Californicus) is a species of non-avian theropod troodont dinosaur native mainly to swamps, forests, grasslands, and scrublands of California, but is also found in parts of Baja California, Nevada, and Oregon. They are named because males have tall yellow crests in which they use to attract females, who do not have tall crests. They are about the size of a chicken and feed on the same type of food, but despite competition from chickens, they still flourish due to abundance of food. They tolerate really well with climate changes and human activities, including pollution, and can adapt really well in a life in the cities and suburbs.
