Help! I'm The President's Daughter! is a 2013 Disney Channel original movie.
Summary[]
Sixteen-year-old Angela Styles is a Washington, D.C. teenager with a great life; she has lots of friends, is very popular, gets great grades, is in various clubs, and best of all, her father is the newly-elected President of the United States.
Upon moving into the White House, Angela's perfect life comes crashing down when she is told that she will have to attend a private school, have Secret Service agents with her wherever she goes and watch her every move, and cannot keep in any kind of contact with her old friends for "security reasons".
After unsuccessfully attempting to adjust to this new life, Angela quickly grows to hate being the president's daughter and also starts to hate her parents, who start to become too busy to do anything or spend any time with her. She wishes to return to her old life, but since her father has the highest approval ratings of any president since Franklin Roosevelt, it is unlikely that he will be resigning from office anytime soon.
Angela, one day, requests to go live with her grandparents who only live a few blocks from the White House, but her parents refuse and the result is a very ugly fight. Afterwards, Angela begins concocting a plan to create a "scandal" that she hopes will destroy her father's presidency and allow her to go back to being a normal girl. Will it work? If it does, what will happen?
