Heartbroken is the debut extended play (EP) by American actress and singer Peyton List. It was released on February 26, 2016, by Hollywood Records in conjunction with Interscope Records. The EP was preceded by the lead single on October 23, 2015, "Unsolved", which was considered a commercial underperformance, reaching a peak of number 85 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart. The second single, "Sugarcoat" featuring German electronic music producer Zedd, was released on February 12, 2016 and earned List her first top twenty entry on the chart, peaking at number 11. "Yesterday, I" featuring Canadian singer-songwriter Shawn Mendes was released as a standalone single on June 10, 2016 and was later included in a digital extended release of the EP, reaching number 17 on the Billboard Hot 100.

The EP received positive reviews upon release, and charted at number 64 on the Billboard 200.

Background[]

List was announced to have joined the roster of Hollywood Records in January 2015. Following the conclusion of Jessie, her Disney Channel sitcom, she shared that she intended to release her debut single sometime later that same year.
