Headmaster Farnsworth was the headmaster of a school meant to make Native Americans assimilate into American culture. One of his students, Akecheta (also known as John), protested against his decision to hang the John Gast painting American Progress in his room. This happened in 1888, on September 6. One of his future descendants became a nurse, and delivered actress Hayden Panettiere on August 21, 1989, as well as other babies.
