Halloween III (2011) (also called Rob Zombie's Halloween III) is a drama horror film starring Tyler Mane, Scout Taylor-Compton, Andrew Garfield, and Brad Dourif. It is a sequel to Halloween II (2009) and is in the Halloween Remake Timeline. Keep in mind that this picks up right after Halloween II (2009) THEATRICAL Cut. That means Doctor Sam Loomis was stabbed and slashed to death, Michael was stabbed by Laurie and never said "Die," and Laurie is still alive. This film also borrows elements from Halloween II (1981).

Instead of putting Laurie Strode in a mental sanitarium, RJIS decided to have her return to the Haddonfield General Hospital, like she did one year earlier. He was not going to have Laurie Strode go fully mentally insane. While Halloween II (2009) picked up one year later after the events of the previous film and showed those results, Halloween 3 will pick up immediately after Halloween II to show the results of being put in danger in just 1 hour.

Halloween 3 was released on October 13, 2011 and was met with positive reviews, with people saying that it makes the theatrical cuts of Halloween (2007) and Halloween II (2009) look good and continues the creativity of this remake series. This is also praised for having strong performances, likable characters, a decrease of swearing and sex, and good violence and action. However, criticism went towards a few parts being repeated from the predecessor and for the confusion because of the different ending of the director's cut of Halloween II being more known because of the marketing.

Plot[]

Laurie is sent to the Haddonfield Hospital after she was attacked by Michael Myers. She is constantly freaking out and is scared. The staff there includes Doctor Raymond, nurse Erin, paramedic Stan, and security guard Kelly. She is put in a hospital bed after being treated for her wounds and rests for a few minutes.

Sheriff Brackett arrives and comforts Laurie. He suggests that she has one of her friends visit her instead because he's upset about Annie's death and has to go back on duty. Brackett goes back to the crime scene and vomits when looking at the corpse of Doctor Loomis. Laurie calls a friend, Brendan Smith, who comes to see her and helps her maintain control again.

Meanwhile 2 coroners, Andrew and Beth, are driving the van with the corpses from Michael Myers' massacre. They talk about making sure that Michael is dead before Michael (ironically) stabs Beth's neck and eyes before the car crashes. Andrew seemingly knocks Michael out and tries to get away, but Michael stabs his back through the car seat and impales his forehead with a knife. A deputy, Willis, sees the crash and is killed by Michael. He then travels to the Haddonfield General Hospital to kill Laurie, as he realized that she isn't who he thought she was.

Back in the hospital, Laurie's mental breakdowns and visions are lessening thanks to Brendan's help (in this film, Laurie goes from having mental breakdowns to maintaining control). She tells her ghost mom that she doesn't exist anymore and the visions of Deborah Myers disappear. As Laurie and Brendan talk and build a stronger relationship, Kelly goes to investigate something skeptical happening in another hallway. She finds blood on the floor before Michael appears and kills her with a sledgehammer. Meanwhile, Erin and Stan are about to hang out in the therapy hot tub before Michael slashes Erin's chest and head with his knife. Stan goes to find her, but is stabbed with 6 syringes in the chest and slashed in the head with Michael's knife.

Sheriff Brackett finds a crashed van and an empty police car on the side of the road and investigates what happened. He finds the corpses of coroners Beth and Andrew as well as deputy Willis. He then rushes to the hospital in a frantic, knowing that Michael is after Laurie. Meanwhile, Dr Raymond is killed with a drill. Brandon sees his corpse as well as the other corpses, before finding Michael. However, Brendan gets away before Michael sees him. He tells Laurie that Michael Myers has arrived and they start to leave when Brackett arrives again and they fight against Michael. They meet up with 2 officers, Shelly and Carl, and they run to an ambulance that Brackett drives, while Brendan helps Laurie into it.

As they drive, Michael grabs some scalpels before he gets into a coroner van and drives after the group. The officers repeatedly tell him to stop driving and since he doesn't, they start shooting at him, breaking the glass window. Michael takes 2 scalpels and throws them at officer Shelly's head, which impale her. She falls onto the road and gets run over. Michael crashes into the van, and the cars stop and catch fire. While the others run away, Michael brutally stabs and slashes officer Carl.

Laurie, Brendan, and Brackett run and eventually make it to the Copperfield Hospital where nurse Ronald and doctor Olivia treat Laurie.

Michael arrives and kills Olivia and Ronald. The trio runs to a police station. Michael kills 4 officers. The trio gets in a cop car. Michael gets in another cop car. Michael crashes into them.
