The giant walking bat (scientific name: Ambulovespertilio maxima), also known as the orangkalong, the gargoyle bat, the human bat or the giant rearmouse, is the largest extant species of walking bat. It inhabits the Bornean Rainforest and is known for being declared extinct in 2000 but later rediscovered in 2020 to be alive. It is threatened not by human activity, like the rest of the walking bat species, but because of its one natural predator: the pouched pegasus. (WIP)
