The Giant hedgehog is a species of hedgehog that is huge, ranging from about the size of a large domestic pig to about the size of a large rhinoceros, making them the largest insectivores ever and among the largest carnivorous mammals alive today, along with certain bear species (polar/Kodiak bear). It lives in Asian woodlands, but were introduced to North America by humans, so it also lives in woodlands of North America, but can also thrive well in human settlements. It is an omnivore that feeds on fruits, vegetables, roots, tubers, insects, and vertebrates as small as or smaller than a house ccat. They are very peaceful towards humans, dylanusids, and other sapient species, except vampires.
