German Saber-Tooth

A sketch of a German saber-tooth.

A German saber-tooth, also known as a domestic saber-tooth or a domestic saber-toothed cat, is a breed of large Anatolian shepherd-sized domestic cat that was bred by the army of Germany in late 1970s to early 1980s when west and east sides of Germany was separated by border walls, but when Germany was reunited, the German saber-tooths were no longer used in patrolling borders. Today, they are now a common guard animals, police animals, and household pets, while as guard animals they protect junkyards and/or landfills from sapient intruders, as police animals they are trained to tackle down criminals without causing injuries (using saber teeth to pin down criminals with no serious injuries despite the large size of their saber-teeth), as household pets they are playful, energetic, loyal, and docile. The German saber-tooth are often mistaken by common humans for saber-toothed cats native to North America due to having large saber teeth like them, but saber-toothed cats are actually truly wild animals and are part of the completely different genus Smilodon while house cats (including German saber-tooths) are part of the genus Felis.
