Plot

After a fight with her parents, getting raped by her boyfriend and then dumped by him for being a transgender, Chelsea Morrison moves to LA and enrols at the University of California, Los Angeles and has given up on trying to find love, believing no man will accept her for who she is. However, when she falls for Vincent Harper, she finds that maybe there is someone who'll accept her.

Cast

• Kara Royster as Chelsea Morrison, an African-American transgender USCLA student who moves to LA for a fresh start and has given up on trying to find a boyfriend after her previous boyfriend Richard Nall raped and then dumped her.
• Robbie Amell as Vincent Harper, an ex-U.S. marine, USCLA student and part-time dancer who is the founder and head of the YouTube dance group MultiSteps, who becomes Chelsea's first friend. He later becomes Chelsea's love interest
• Dayo Okeniyi as Greg Saunders, a gay USCLA student, member of MultiSteps and Vincent's best friend
• Jared Padelacki as Richard Nall, the lead singer of the band Summer Times and the ex-boyfriend of Chelsea. He dumped Chelsea after she revealed she was transgender, but not before raping her to break her confidence. He is the main antagonist of the film.
