Geep is a character that appears in Trains Northwest. He is one of the main characters on the show.
Description[]
Geep is an EMD GP39-2 engine built in 1984. He is a 4 axle diesel engine and one of the smaller engines. He is painted in the red and grey southern pacific paint scheme.
Portrayal in the series[]
Geep is a hard working engine who often feel the need to prove himself. Whether it's pulling heavy freight trains and switching in the yards, Geep will gladly take any job that will make his useful. His need to prove himself occasionally stems from being a smaller engine as the bigger engines will sometimes tease him, saying that small engines should stick to short locals and switching and leave long heavy trains to the big engines. This will often cause him to try to perform certain jobs in an attempt to prove that he is capable of anything the big engines can do. However, sometimes he gets into trouble when he takes his need to prove himself too far. Aside from these character flaws, Geep is a kind engine who has made friends with almost every engine in the Willamette Valley.
