Fuzzy Friends, better known as Fuzzy Friends: Around the World in 20 Minutes, is a 2018 American direct-to-video interactive animated adventure film that was released on August 5, 2018 by The Kiddie Channel. The film was followed by and serves as the pilot of the TV series Fuzzy Friends, created by Chaister Garrincha and Braddock Schroeder.

It stars the voices of Maxillane Charrest, Dallaire Wippenberg, Tree Adams, Chaister Garrincha, Braddock Schroeder, Chinook Cosgrove, Lindred Fischer, and Gallego Slovenscina.

Plot

The film follows a group of eight anthropomorphic animal kids, who live in an unspecified neighborhood, in a fictional unnamed town, as they seek ways to occupy their time during their boredom. At the beginning of the movie, a persistent and rambunctious dog (Braddock Schroeder) paced across his bedroom that he shared with his seven siblings. He was both excited and worried. Today was the day that he would attempt to avoid all boredom by finding something new to make.

After he decides what to make, the dog proceeds to build a large, congenial hot-air-balloon with an orange goldfish for its balloon. Soon, at the same moment he wants to invite his friends, he sneaks around inside of the house to see if they are inside. He later sees a compassionate pig (Lindred Fischer) who is meditating peacefully in a quiet space, as he asks her to join him.

It isn't long before they have their own theories about what to do, especially when this time, they see an intelligent bear (Gallego Slovenscina) and optimistic giraffe (Chinook Cosgrove) hanging their decorations up when they go outside.

Two minutes later, a fashionable duck (Dallaire Wippenberg) and an easygoing hippopotamus (Maxillane Charrest) are seen practicing golf in the backyard. The ball lands beside a butterfly, which lands right under a tree in which a tomboyish raccoon (Chaister Garrincha) is hanging out by herself. She then sees the golf ball in another tree and retrieves it with the help of using branches.

Before long, everybody spots a young tiger cub (Tree Adams) who is seen playing happily with her toys. She would then like to tag along on the older kids' adventures. A few moments later, all of the animals introduce themselves to each other as they approach the dog's giant air balloon. Everyone proceeds to enter it, and the raccoon launches it.

First they went to explore the Eiffel Tower, then Hollywood, England, Scotland, Ireland, Mexico, San Francisco, Africa, The Moon, Tower of Pisa, Carnegie Hall, Silicon Valley, Taj Mahal, The Statue of Liberty, The Titanic, Japan, Antarctica, and the Egyptian Pyramids. Later, the tiger cub says that seeing the world was the greatest day of her life, considering when there's anything else that the group could ever wish for.

Meanwhile, while flying above the Earth, they encounter one more thing, but it multiplies and covers the hot-air-balloon, which breaks off a rocket booster. One kid suggests that they blast music to expel it, and they dance to a song that succeeds in doing so. In space, the team witnesses the Earth, but soon they kept teaching themselves about world culture along with other subjects, and anything new they learned was passed on directly to other people. Shortly afterwards, they assemble the "Fuzzy Friends" team of themselves, as they head off to explore the entire big world, right before their parents return home, which usually leaves the animal kids to travel again the next time.

Reception

The movie was given a 5-star rating by Common Sense Media.
