The sixth season of Fuller House, an American sitcom created by Jeff Franklin and produced by Warner Bros. Television Group, premiered on ABC on January 13, 2021 and concluded on May 19, 2021. The series, which is the sequel to the 1987–1995 television series Full House, centers around DJ Tanner-Fuller, a veterinarian and widowed mother of three sons, whose sister Stephanie and best friend Kimmy—along with her teenage daughter—live together at the Tanners' childhood home in San Francisco, California.
ABC originally intended for the series to conclude with its previous season. However, production on the series finale could not completed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The two-part episode was expected not to be produced. Instead, the defacto series finale would have been "Something Borrowed". Warner Bros. persisted in finding a new outlet for the series, at one point aiming to repurpose the series finale as a standalone special for HBO Max. Following weeks of uncertainty, ABC announced Fuller House would return for a sixth season, set to premiere during midseason. The intended series finale acted as the sixth season premiere, being broadcast in a special slot following The Bachelor on January 4, 2021 at 10:00pm.
In July 2020, executive producer John Stamos revealed that production had been delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic and was originally intended to commence on August 10, 2020. The first taping of the season instead took place in November 2020. The character of Michelle Tanner, played by Olesya Rulin, made her debut appearance in the sixteenth episode. Lori Loughlin controversially returned to her role as Rebecca Donaldson-Katsopolis in the same episode, following a brief stint in prison after she pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit fraud in connection with the 2019 college admissions bribery scandal.
ABC renewed Fuller House for a seventh season on May 14, 2021.

Reception[]
The sixth season of Fuller House received mostly positive reviews from critics. The review aggregation website Rotten Tomatoes gave an 70% approval rating for the season with an average rating of 6.9/10, based on seven reviews. At the end of the season, Chris Hayner of IGN gave the season a 7.8/10 review, writing: "Though Fuller House might still have an overreliance on cheesy humor and pop culture references, the newest entry in the Tanner-Fuller family saga brings back an element sorely missed: real world problems being dealt with by real people. Gone are the days of kids being rewarded using firetrucks and ponies. Instead, the series delves into the harsh realities of childbirth, questioning one's sexuality or the effect that seeing a parent struggle financially can have on a child."
