Premise

After the finale, Monica (Cox) and Chandler (Perry) moved out, Phoebe (Kudrow) and Mike (Rudd) bought their apartment, and Rachel (Aniston) and Ross (Schwimmer)  bought Joey's (LeBlanc) when he went to L.A. They eventually all moved to the suburbs and lived on the same street, except for Joey who stayed in L.A. Ten years later, the gang reunites for Ben's (Sprouse) graduation, the opening of Monica's new restaraunt called Insomnia Cafe (with Gunther (Tyler) serving as manager), Jack and Erica's tenth birthday, and the production of Joey's new film, Across the Pond (based off of Shakespeare's Comedy of Errors), starring him and David Tennant.  However, they will face various trials and tribulations during the week-long reunion:

  • Ross discovers that he has been selected as one of five scientists who will appear on a nationally-televised lecture about science's effect on the modern world, but he also finds out David (Azaria) will be on the team as well, much to Mike's dismay.
  • At a party for the cast of Across the Pond, Joey brings Chandler (who is supposed to be helping set up the twin's party) as his plus one. There he realizes that Tennant's plus one is his and Chandler's ex-girlfriend Kathy (Brewster) (who Tennant met when he arrived in New York) and he goes to talk to her in the hopes of getting back together. While he's gone, one of the film's stars, John Barrowman, comes over to Chandler and starts flirting with him, under the assumption that Chandler is homosexual.
  • After getting rejected by Kathy and humiliated by Tennant, Joey wakes up in bed, hungover, with Janice (Wheeler). He doesn't remember what happened, and has to pretend to know what Janice is talking about.
