| − | Two boys, about 13 years old, go out of their houses to play in the woods of crystal lake. While they are playing, they do not hear the sounds of heavy footsteps or rustling. When one of the boys suggests they play hide and seek, the other boy starts to count while the first boy hides. He runs into the woods and hides behind a tree, but hears heavy breathing. Suddenly he gets grabbed by a dark figure and pulled into the bushes where his neck is broken offscreen. |

He hears footsteps and sees the dark figure about 50 feet away, stepping towards him with a machete. The boy begins to panic and runs through the woods screaming, and ends up at crystal lake. He takes refuge in a cabin, but the figure easily breaks down the door and attacks the little boy, stabbing him with the machete. The figure is revealed to be Jason voorhees, who turns out to have survived the attack at the shore. He brings down the machete again on the screaming boy and it cuts to the title. |

| − | It then cuts to a group of counselors: Tim (Nico Tortorella), Lori (Shantel VanSanten), Leon (Penn Badgley), Anna (Jennifer Lawrence), Hallie (Lucy Hale), John (Matt Lanter), Marnie (Teresa Palmer), Adam (Ryan Rottman), Brandon (Tristan Wilds), Stacey (Aimee Teegarden), and Olivia (Leighton Meester). Adam and Olivia form a crush on each other, and Stacey replies: "What assholes in love". They arrive at the camp with their instructor Eric (Eric Roberts), and morale is very high in the group, except for Tim who is nervous. Lori asks him what's wrong and he replies that three years ago in 2007, he and his family were on vacation. The 14 year old boy and his friend were playing in the woods, when they stumbled into Jason who proceeded to decapitate his friend's head. Young Tim screamed and ran away, but got stabbed in the leg by a knife. However, his father spotted jason and shot him in the stomach repeatedly and he was taken to the hospital for his foot injury. |

| − | Back in reality, Tim begins to cry, and Lori and Leon attempt to calm him down. That night, Olivia and Adam go into a bedroom and begin to have naked sex, not realizing a dark figure was in the kitchen. They don't realize that the figure was climbing up the stairs or entering the bedroom. Just then a machete was impaled in Adam causing him to scream and throw up blood in Olivia's face. Olivia screams in horror/disgust and sees jason with the bloody machete causing her to scream again. Then jason begins to grab her by the neck and chokes her to death, and throws her body out the window and it lands on the ground. |

| − | The next morning, they find Adam dead on the bed soaked in blood, and after they find Olivia's body, Eric claims that Olivia killed Adam and Commited suicide in result. However, Tim disagrees and claims it is jason, but everyone laughed at him, except for Lori or Leon. Anna then explains that Jason disappeared a year ago. Eric then announces to everyone that they have to start preparing the camp for the kids arriving in 7 days, much to Tim's chagrin. As everyone begins to prepare, Tim talks to Leon and Lori that they have to evacuate the camp, and they agree. |

| − | John goes into the shed to pick tools, and grabs a hammer and screwdriver. He reaches for a box of nails when suddenly a hand grabs them and he looks up and sees jason. He stumbles back in confusion and fear and he pours the nails on John stabbing him and he screams in pain. Jason grabs his hammer and hits him in the head with it and it smashes his skull. Stacey and Marnie go inside after hearing John's scream but both are brutally murdered with the hammer. |

| − | As the camp is now in perfect conditions, Brandon suggests to have a celebration and Tim, Leon, and Lori refuse to go, as they go into the woods with knives to fight jason. Jason grabs Stacey, Marnie, and John's bodies, and goes underground into a tunnel and goes into his lair. Upon hearing footsteps, he steps out of the lair and attacks Leon, Lori, and Tim, and stabs Lori in the stomach and Tim tries to kill jason once and for all by stabbing him in the throat and causing Tim to stomp on the knife in anger causing jason to bleed. They walk away thinking it's over but jason rises, having faked his death. |

| − | Jason appears at the party with his machete and decapitates Eric causing Hallie, Anna, and Brandon to scream in panic. They begin to run but jason pulls back Brandon and stabs him through the forehead with the knife. Hallie and Anna try to shoot jason repeatedly but this slows jason down only a little bit. They run into the woods and bump into Leon, Lori, and Tim and tell them Brandon and Eric are dead, and Tim screams in rage "DO YOU BELIEVE ME NOW?!" Lori calms him down and tells them they need to get to the police station, not far from the camp. Hallie and Anna instantly agree, but Hallie gets shot thru the head with an arrow just seconds afterwards. They continue to run, and Jason fires another arrow and Lori jumps in front of tim and gets hit in the heart with the arrow and she collapses near death. Jason decapitates her with the machete, and throws it at Anna killing her. Just then Tim and Leon reach the truck for the counselors, and grab an AK47 from the trunk. They fire bullets at Jason's chest repeatedly causing him to collapse bleeding. They get in the truck and drive away as fast as possible. |
