Frank Holmes (born June 15, 1953) is a supporting character in the TV series, The Sullivans.
Born in Eureka, Maryland in June 1953. Frank was the eldest of six children.
He joined the Army out of high school and became an Army Ranger. He did a tour in Vietnam and served in Panama, Grenada, Desert Storm, Somalia and took part in the Iraq War. Frank eventually rose the rank of Colonel and had a distinguished career, being awarded three Purple Hearts, a Sliver Star, a Bronze Star and the Medal of Honor when he saved 16 soldiers during an operation in Dessert Storm. He retired from the Army in 2009.
He has married to a former medical examiner Laura Jones for 40 years and they have four children, Terrell, Jackson, Jennifer and Peter, all of whom have served in the Army and has five grandchildren.
