Hello members of the Fanon Wiki community. I'd like to announce a new "operation", which will be titled Operation Purify (otherwise simply "Op. P" for short). This movement will be lead by both administrators and community users alike. It will consist of a mass cleansing of Fanon Wiki, to ensure a clear (or "purified, if you will) community. The content of majority of our articles is poor, to say the least. There aren't enough contributors. As an administrator and bureaucrat, it is my job to give this wiki my all, and make sure it becomes one of the best. I plan of attempting to gather and recruit more users, another administrator, and make a massive amount of edits sometime within the near future. What this means for you, is that if some, or it could be many, of your articles are deleted, then it's because they failed to meet our requirements.
For now, a list of ways users can help us administrators improve Fanon Wiki:
- Tag any uncategorized articles with {{No category}}
- Create articles and pages that follow all of Fanon Wiki's, especially the New Manual of Style.
- Don't upload images/files without knowing and posting their original source, and the file's author
- Revert acts of vandalism/rebellion
- Improve the quality of articles already existing
- Recruit and gather new users to Fanon Wiki. Make sure they are reliable, ready to follow our policies and rules, and want to have a good time creating
- Have fun. Op. P is meant to help Fanon Wiki and its community, not drive anyone away.
