Forced Punishment is the second episode of DC's Injustice series. It will be aired on HBO and Netflix.
Story[]
(Before...)
Superboy Prime and Garfield Logan (as a bird) are flying in the air as Kid Flash is running in the same fast speed as them.
"It's been long that I have been in the air for fun. Never have I experienced a distance this cool before!" Garfield explains.
"Yeah. It takes your breath, honestly. Now you can understand what Kal-El felt when he flew for the first time." Superboy explains.
Bart Allen picks up through the comms from Garfield and Superboy's earpiece. "Look ahead, the Metropolis statue. Catch me if you can-"
An explosion of fire erupts as Metropolis is burned from flames. Bart is instantly disintegrated into dust as he ran into the explosion.
Superboy grabs Garfield and tries his best to shield him from the blast. Once the blast is gone, Superboy sees a severely injured Garfield, changed back to his normal form. As Superboy holds Garfield, Starfire and Tim Drake walk to where the explosion happened to see a crying Kal-El and a dead Garfield, killing by the nuclear explosion.
Hours later, all members of the Teen Titans mourn the lost of Bart Allen and Garfield. Superboy sits on the couch, still affected by both of the member's death. Dick Grayson walks in, Starfire hugs Dick and sets him down near Superboy.
"Superboy. It was Joker." Dick says
"What? Joker? He caused this?" Superboy asks painfully
"Yes but that's not the only thing. It was caused when Superman was poisoned and thought Lois Lane was Doomsday and sent her to space" Dick explains.
Superboy, shocked, "Wasn't she...?"
Dick and everyone stays silent as Starfire cries to Tim's arm due to Nightwing's story.
"Superman wanted to keep this from you but... he wanted me to tell you..." Dick Grayson explained.
Superboy flys away minutes later in search of Superman.
At the Fortress of Solitude, Superman is still mourning the loss of Lois Lane alone when Superboy breaks a hole through the Fortress. A crying Superboy drops down and sees a beaten, saddened Superman on the floor.
"Why? WHY?!" Superboy asked. "Why did you kill?! I understand what he did but you're just like the bad guy if you kill them with a choice!"
Superboy holds his chest that has the Superman symbol on his chest.
"This symbol... What does it mean anymore? You said it yourself, "Truth, Justice and the American Way". Now, I don't even know what it means anymore..."
Superman not replying to what Superboy said as he flys away from where Superman sits. Superman, burning with red.
(A month later)
Superboy watches as Superman gives his speech. He signs at the sight of Superman before flying away. At the Teen Titans, Superboy is in his room contemplating the situation. He then thinks of an idea before flying away, Starfire notices along with the rest of the Titans.
At the Fortress of Solitude, Superboy ends up searching for a certain weapon piece before hearing Superman behind him.
"Looking for this?" Superman says as he carries the Phantom Projector.
Without thought, Superboy uses his super speed to strike Superman, hitting him to the ground. Both struggle to get the Phantom Projector before Starfire and Red Robin crash through the Fortress. Superman ends up fighting both Starfire and Superboy as Red Robin attempts to grab the Phantom Projector but is unable to pick it up due to the weight of it.
Superman manages to grab Starfire and Superboy by the necks and look at Red Robin.
"What's the plan? Batman always has a plan" Superman asks.
"Nothing. I just know what you're going to do!" Superboy explains before hitting Superman with his heat vision, stunning him. Superboy runs at Superman but is punched in the chest by Kal. Superboy falls on the ground, blood coming out of his mouth in pain.
Starfire and Red Robin run to Superboy.
"WHAT DID YOU DO?" Red Robin asked in fury.
"Superboy is going to die. His chest is broken. The only way he can be saved if went to the Phantom Zone along with you guys.. Only if you don't infer with my plans."
Red Robin and Starfire look at each other and then back to Superman. Superman then opens the Phantom Zone. A injured Superboy, Red Robin and Starfire head into the Phantom Zone.
A new start of war.
