  • The film was originally scheduled for release on October 23, 2020 so that Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, Paramount Pictures and Skydance Media would release it with Snake Eyes (2021) and that New Line Cinema would release it with Those Who Wish Me Dead (2021).
    • On September 17, 2020, the film was pushed back six months to April 2, 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
    • On October 2, 2020, the film was pushed back two months to June 25 with No Time to Die (2021) taking its previous spot.
    • On October 6, 2020, the film was pushed back three months to September 17 with Meredith's New Jerseyan Life: Video Chatting with Zachary taking its previous spot.

  • This is the first main Five Nights at the Spa film where the antagonists don't wear eye bandannas and bathrobes or bikinis. Instead, they wear a visor that shoots lasers out of their eyes, Alexandra and Allie wear a sweater, sweatpants and boots and Ainsley wears a daredevil outfit and roller skates while all three wear gloves as they did in second and third main films.
    • This is also the first main film to not be rated TV-14-LV on TV, rather having a TV-14-LS rating instead.
  • The film takes over the fourth main film role from Five Nights at the Spa: The Warehouse Time Forgot, which was pulled from the release schedule and cancelled on July 16, 2020 and revived as a second reboot film on November 19.
  • The film was originally going to be distributed by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer in the US, Paramount Pictures in the UK and Warner Bros. Pictures internationally and produced by New Line Cinema, Skydance Media, Fuzzy Door Productions, The Montecito Picture Company and Joint Effort.
