Final Nightmares is a FNAF Fangame inspired by Five Nightmares at Freddy's but will be featuring 5 different guards, animatronics, and locations on each day and night.

Summary[]

In this anthology story, there will be 5 stories about different guards and locations along with different animatronics but their goal is still to survive until 6:00 A.M.

Plot[]

  • Prologue: The game starts with Markplier himself addressing you and telling you stories about 5 different people.
  • Day 1: The 1st Day and Mike's Story.
    • At 7:00 A.M., Mike Smith wakes up in his apartment and gets ready for a job interview while watching the news about Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria, his favorite establishment.
    • At 8:00 A.M., he arrives at the interview and nearly does well but it's later revealed that members of his family have a criminal past and he was trying to hide it, leading to his rejection for lying. He is hurt by the rejection but accepts it and apologizes for lying before leaving the interview.
    • At 9:00 A.M., he heads to his school and tries to ignore the bullying he receives from others but is dismayed to find that his girlfriend Cherry is supposedly cheating on him with his arch-rival Jeremiah. Despite her attempts to explain this misunderstanding, he no longer cares and breaks up with her out of belief that he caused the affair, much to her remorse.
    • During the whole school times, he still ignores the torment from others and just focuses on his studies, having stopped caring long ago. However, his teachers are getting concerned for him because of this and decided to help find a job.
    • After school, he looks at the newspaper again and finds that Freddy Fazbear Pizza is hiring and won't care about his past, which he calls them about it but gets surprised that he already got the job.
    • At 10:00 P.M., he arrives at the place but gets surprised to see a guard quickly thanking him and leaving as if he was scared about this. However, the manager assured him that everything was fine and the guard just didn't get along with the animatronics, even ignoring how Freddy suddenly greeted Mike.
    • At 11:00 P.M., he still starts getting dressed for his shift and agrees to the job just so he can pay his rent and get his life back together now.
  • Night 1: The 1st night and Mike's shift.
    • At 12:00 A.M., Mike is in his uniform and already working in the office until the phone rings and he answers it to hear Henry finally warning him of what's happening but advising him to kill the animatronics and end this nightmare for good this time before hanging up, which Mike takes seriously after seeing blood on the animatronics and how they look dangerous.
    • At 1:00 A.M., he is pretending to be cleaning the dining area until Freddy appears before him and attacks him after a moment of silence, which Mike only gets scratch from him. However, Mike is not fazed by this and immediately breaks the mop in half before fighting back and even doing good at it until he finally manages to beat Freddy down, much to the bear's fear. After being done, he finishes him off via stomping on his head until it turns into broken pieces, killing him. As the band look on in shock, he just smugly flips them off and takes Freddy's corpse away, making Bonnie angry but Chica blushing at this.
    • At 2:00 A.M., he is back in his office and looking at the monitor but hears noise in the bathroom and goes to investigate. While doing so, he hears Bonnie and realizes the guy is playing mind games with him but after doing so, the bunny animatronic himself appears and attacks him but Mike also fights against him and after a brief boss fight, he rips Bonnie's arms off and rips the upper half of the bunny's head off via the mouth. Once he did so, he also takes Bonnie's corpse away as well, even smugly waving at a shocked Chica upon her finding out about this.
    • At 3:00 A.M., he is back in his office again and looking at the monitor but hears noises in the kitchen and goes to investigate. While doing so, he sees Chica eating pizza in the kitchen and once she notices him, she asks if they should have some fun. A brief boss battle also happens until he finally uses her winged arms to restrain her like a straitjacket. However, she accepts her own defeat and they share a playful kiss before he grabs her head and twists it backwards, killing her. Just like the others, he takes Chica's corpse away but had a feeling that it ain't over yet.
    • At 4:00 A.M., he is back in his office again and still looking at the monitor but hears Foxy's humming sound and could tell that this is another fight coming soon.
    • At 5:00 A.M.,
    • At 6:00 A.M.,
  • Day 2: The 2nd Day and Mary's Story.
    • At 7:00 A.M.,

    • Henry Emily/The Phone Guy: The manager of the pizzeria and the phone guy of the 1st night who decides to help Mike out on his night, even becoming an ally and turning against William at the cost of his own life.
    • William Afton/The Purple Guy: The owner of the pizzeria and the main antagonist of the 1st night who plans to kill Mike to prevent him from blurting everything out.
  • Mary's Story:
    • Mary Fritz: The protagonist of the 2nd story and a young lady who was previously engaged but found her fiancé cheating on her and gets mocked for it by everyone. However, things go way worse for her when she gets kidnapped by Candy's Burger and Fries to be their nightguard, receiving help from one of the phone guys on this.
    • Lukas Travis: Kerry's brother and Mary's new love-interest who was believed to be a dysfunctional sibling at first but the plot twist revealed that to be a lie and he only dropped out of school just to help raise his sister, who never showed gratitude towards him because of his drop-out status. Fortunately, he helped her clear her name and became her new fiancé, being nicer than Barney.
    • Barney Gallows: Mary's unfaithful ex-fiancé who cheated on her and chooses to selfishly blame her for it while having her mocked for it but it's revealed that he never loved her and just wanted to use her to pay off his debts.
    • Kerry Evelin: Mary's former best friend who was just using her to get to Barney and because she enjoys stealing engaged men or married men but she's fortunately unaware of his debts.
    • Dean Walters: The dean of the college who sides with Mary and expels Barney and Kerry for their behavior.
    • Dave Miller: The manager of Candy's Burger and Fries along with being Mary's only ally in her story and the only one who treats her kindly, leading to a relationship with them.
    • Jack F. Kennedy/The Orange Man: The owner of Candy's Burger and Fries along with being the main antagonist in Mary's Story and the one who kidnapped her for his sinister needs, which he's revealed to be a sadistic murderer.
  • Eric's Story:
    • Eric Liam: The protagonist of the 3rd story and a washed-up man in his 30s who has to provide for an estranged wife and daughter who hate him for supposedly selfish reasons but he ends up finding out about Jolly's Fantasy World and jumps at the chance to go there just to get away from his terrible life only to realize that he was the cause of it.
    • Audrey Tonie: Eric's wife who hates him and acts cold towards him but it turns out that he was cheating on her and neglecting their daughter, leading to her divorcing him, taking custody of their kid, and kicking him out but despite this reveal, she is seen as the toxic jealous type and most likely caused him to cheat by showing a cold attitude towards him way before the affair happened, indicating that she was just offended that he cheated on her instead of caring that he did it.
    • Zoey Meatonette: Eric's daughter who shares her mother's views and also hates him but turns out to be angry at him for neglecting her so he can have an affair, leading to his bad ending. However, she's also implied to be the cause as well due to always siding with her mother's cold and jealous attitude along with thinking that her dad deserves to get hurt or killed for even cheating on her mother, which the implied karma shows her starting to regret it after her mother ended up snapping at her but she just seemed to accept her now miserable life for siding with such a toxic and jealous person.
    • Martin Belfort: Eric's new boss at an accounting firm that is low pay and doesn't provide much but he's still nice to him and helps him out with his divorce while not holding a grudge against him for his affair and knows that he's remorseful for it to the point of wanting to be a better person along with trying to cheer him up at work.
    • Welma Hanna: Eric's colleague who is sympathetic towards his situation but turns out to be his mistress in an affair and despite that being revealed, she still kindly lets him live with her because she loves him.
    • Corey Johnson: Welma's son who likes Eric and sees him as his new father while not blaming him for his affair and even thinking that the guy deserved redemption.
    • Theodore Murphy: The manager of the establishment and the guy on the phone who helps Eric out on his shift while making sure to keep him aware of everything that's going on.
    • Kevin Johnson/The Red Monster: The owner of the establishment and the main antagonist of the 3rd story who convinces Kevin to come to the establishment with obvious plans to kill him.
  • Vanessa's Story:
    • Vanessa Shelby: The protagonist of the 4th story and a long-suffering housewife in her 40s who wants to save her son from her abusive paranoid husband, who is accusing her of having an affair due to their son not looking like him. However, she then finds out about Doug n' Rachel's and takes a job there to try and save her son from her husband, hoping to prove the latter wrong.
    • Mikhail Schmidt: Vanessa's abusive and paranoid husband who is accusing her of having an affair due to their son not even looking like him and only favoring his niece instead while not even caring if the kid gets hurt or killed and even planning to drop him off at an orphanage because he didn't want to raise a child that might not be his but ends up being proven wrong when the plot twist is revealed and yet gets divorced due to refusal to apologize for it and because he was having an affair instead.
    • Gregory Smitty: Vanessa's son who Mikhail hates and looks down on due to him not looking like his father at all and it causes her to be accused of having an affair, despite no proof of an affair. Eventually, the accusations were proven false and he's actually her nephew who was swapped with his cousin at birth by his real mom Sharon due to her not wanting a son but instead a daughter to spoil rotten and this leads to him and Cassie becoming siblings while his wrongdoers got disowned and arrested.
    • Jerome Fitzgerald: Vanessa's brother-in-law and a defense attorney who believes in her and also doesn't believe in Mikhail's accusations due to lack of proof along with also hating his own wife for her constant attitude towards Vanessa all the time. After the plot twist reveal, he angrily divorces his wife for her disgusting misdeeds before then marrying Vanessa now and having custody of his daughter, who chooses to stay with him.
    • Sharon Frey: Mikhail's younger sister and Vanessa's sister-in-law who sides with her brother and also berates Vanessa for the so-called affair but is later revealed to be the real problem now due to secretly switching the kids at birth and just wanting Cassie to be spoiled rotten while refusing to let Gregory be raised, leading to her getting disowned, divorced, and even arrested.
    • Cassie Fandom: Jerome's daughter and Vanessa's niece who doesn't know why the conflict is starting and still loves her cousin but ends up hating her mom and uncle after the truth is revealed that she was swapped with her cousin at birth and she's actually Vanessa's daughter all along, resulting in her reuniting with her and Gregory while Jerome still keeps custody of her.
    • Barbara Jordan: Vanessa's best-friend and boss who sides with her and tries to help her out with how Mikhail treats her and gives her a promotion after she returns back to her job and does better.
    • Rex Donovan: The manager of Doug n' Rachel's and the phone guy for the 4th night, who is forced by his boss to plot against Vanessa but gains a change of heart and decides to help her out.
    • Vincent Stillwater/The Blue Guard: The main antagonist of the 4th story and the owner of Doug n' Rachel's who set Vanessa up to kill her or even brainwash her into joining him, which the latter choice won't happen.
  • Simon's Story:
    • Simon Glade: The protagonist of the 5th story and a retired war veteran in his 50s who lives with an ungrateful daughter and her greedy husband, who both only live with him to con money out of him for their own greedy needs. However, he ends up finding out about The Popgoes Pizzeria and takes a job there to get away from such toxicity.
    • Connie Blaze: Simon's gold-digging daughter who only sees her father as an ATM and even refuses to invite him to the wedding out of embarrassment but ends up becoming alone at the end for this behavior.
    • Jack Carson: Connie's husband who is seen as a bad influence on her and even encouraged her to not invite her father to the wedding but the ending reveals something else going on.
    • Lynda Andrews: Simon's abusive wife who is just as bad as her daughter and even encourages her to be rude to Simon as well but this ends up being stopped when the reveal happens.
    • Richard Tuckson: Lynda's former colleague and a real jerk to Simon that looks down on him for being an old veteran but then the ending reveals what is really happening right now.
    • Tod Heffner: Jack's best man and Connie's fellow bully towards Simon that also hates him for being an old and weak man but then the ending reveals the reason why they're so close.
    • Michelle Watson: Connie's flower girl and actually the only one who tries to be nice to Simon about not inviting him to the wedding but then her kindness starts to make sense later on.
    • Edna Mole: Simon's only friend in life and a fellow loner like himself but this is because she loves him in a genuine way and actually wants him to stand up to his toxic family.
    • Flint Lockhart: Simon's supervisor at his new job and the one calling him to help him out with it but then seems to be in league with the mastermind only to soon gain a change of heart.
    • Albert Willard/The Green Exterminator: The main antagonist of the 5th story and the final villain to go against. A sadistic and twisted character like the other main villains, he is believed to have snapped from being in the military as well and went to prison before eventually breaking out and taking over the establishment to kill any unsuspecting visitors just for his own pleasure, even killing families or other innocent people by lying about having birthday parties.

Animatronics[]

  • Mike's Story:
    • Freddy Fazbear: The titular mascot of the pizzeria and leader of the band but not the main antagonist this time and is the 1st one to fight Mike only to be killed first via getting beaten up and his head ripped off.
    • Bonne the Bunny:
    • Chica the Chicken: The only female member of the band and loves pizza a lot but then develops a huge crush on Mike and even wants him for herself, much to his obvious shock and confusion. She is the 3rd one to fight him but gets killed too.
    • Foxy the Pirate Fox:
  • Mary's Story:
    • Candy the Cat: The titular mascot of his establishment and leader of the band but just like Freddy, he's not the main antagonist either and is actually the 1st one taken down as well.

T.V. Tropes[]

  • Abusive Parents: A few characters have this or they are this:
    • William Afton: Downplayed; He doesn't have children in this adaptation (thank God for that) but he's still this for the animatronics as he doesn't care when they die and seems to be disappointed in them for it. However, it's implied that he had this instead and it explains why he's like this, although he doesn't bring it up nor use it as a Freudian Excuse.
    • Mary's Parents: Surprisingly, her parents don't care if she was getting cheated on and still force her to marry Barney due to wanting their business to succeed with his family's money while even blaming Mary for him cheating on her and threatening her to marry him or else they'll disown her for disobeying him, showing their only interest in being successful and also being unaware of Barney's secret debts until it was too late.
    • Eric Liam: Downplayed; He never hit his daughter nor brushed her off but instead only committed Parental Neglect to have an affair and drops this trope via wanting to pay for alimony and child support, which his wife is the one implied to be this instead.
    • Mikhail Schmidt: Oh boy, this guy not only never acknowledges Justin as his son due to him not looking like him but he never cares if the kid might get hurt or killed and doesn't even apologize when being proven wrong about an affair.
  • Adaptational Heroism: Some characters are this now:
    • William Afton: Downplayed; He's still a Big Bad and Complete Monster that murdered the children for immortality and still remains a bad person to this day but he at least isn't an Abusive Dad this time and also implies that he fortunately isn't a pedophile via also scolding Jeremiah Trunks for forcing himself on someone, showing that he does have small standards.
    • Eric Liam: Yes, he's still an unfaithful husband and deadbeat parent that committed Parental Neglect but he never becomes an animatronic and his goals of wanting money is portrayed for sympathy as he was paying his family alimony out of remorse for what he did along with fortunately not causing his daughter to get killed nor even chasing after protagonists, only becoming an action hero and rightfully killing the villains.
    • Vanessa Shelby: While she was a brainwashed accomplice to the Big Bad, she never goes through that and is now portrayed as a loving mother that wants to save her son from her abusive paranoid husband, who had plotted to even let the child die.
    • Simon Glade: Not only is he never the purple guy in this adaptation but he's now one of the 5 protagonists of the story and wants to put an end to this nightmare for good, even at the possible cost of his life.
  • Adaptational Jerkass: A few characters:
    • Jeremiah Tonks: He's a bigger one than the version of Jeremy Fitzgerald from Five Nightmares at Freddy's and unlike that version, this guy doesn't have redeeming qualities nor does he have a reason to be mean to Mike other than just doing it for fun, which angers many fans of Jeremy and refuses to see this guy as the counterpart.
    • Barney Gallows: Unlike his counterpart Barry Davis from Five Nightmares at Candy's, Derek is an unfaithful fiancé to Mary and selfishly blames her for the affair while showing no remorse for it and not even caring when she's in danger, which only leaves him as more of a counterpart of Doug Burns instead and yet he survives the whole thing.
    • Audrey Toni and Zoey: Downplayed; At first, they seem to be ungrateful towards Eric for providing for them and even use him as an ATM but the plot twist declares this behavior as justified due to Eric admitting that he actually cheated on the former and neglected the latter for the affair while owing them alimony and compensation, even if they're still implied to be this due to never expressing concern for his health and safety along with the fact that their behavior is implied to be his motive.
    • Mikhail Schmidt: Surprisingly, this guy is nothing like his namesake from FNAF nor like his counterpart from Jolly but is instead an abusive and paranoid husband and father who accuses his wife of having an affair because their son doesn't look like him and even acts callous when the poor kid ends up hurt due to thinking that he shouldn't raise a kid that isn't his, not even apologizing when he was proven wrong but instead brushing it off as an honest mistake and this leads to his own downfall.
  • Ambiguous Ending: While the mystery of the kids was solved thanks to Vanessa's survival at Doug n' Rachels, it's still never explained how the cousins were swapped at birth and why no one noticed it since they were different genders, making you wonder if Vanessa was in so much happiness that she didn't hear the baby's gender or Mikhail was in on this and drugged Vanessa into forgetting their baby's gender along with making the accusation just to cover up this scheme. Nonetheless, Vanessa was still happy now and even if her husband did do that to her, she'll obviously press charges against him as well.
  • Ambiguously Gay: Cindy somehow keeps flirting with Mary and not caring if Mary is a girl, which her brother keeps reminding her of. It's later confirmed that she's actually bi-sexual and has a crush on Mary, who seems to be flattered by it and doesn't mind at all either due to also being bi-sexual.
  • Antagonist Title: Despite some mascots being a titular character, they're not the Big Bad Ensemble.
  • Antagonistic Offspring: Some good parents still have bad kids:
    • Mike's Story: Despite so-called hints of Jeremiah's dad being an Abusive Dad, the Trunks couple are actually decent people and have every right to be mad at their son for his horrible behavior towards his classmates, even being willing to rightfully disown him for what he did to Mike and Cherry.
    • Mary's Story: Despite Mary's worries, Barney's parents are also decent people and had no idea about their son being a greedy and sleazy womanizer that was using her to pay off debts, leading to them disowning him and supporting Mary's new marriage.
    • Eric's Story: At first, it's implied that Zoey is this due to agreeing with her mother's coldness towards Eric and also insulting him too but the ending narration reveals this as justified because Eric cheated on Audrey and had neglected Zoey just to have an affair, leading to her hating him right now and being distant from him. However, it's been implied that she was always like this before the affair and that she was influenced by her mother to be like this, which she shows signs of regretting it now.
    • Vanessa's Story: While they did believe in Mikhail's delusions at first, his parents fortunately admit when they're wrong and apologized to Vanessa and Gregory for their behavior while rightfully scolding their son and daughter for what they did and how they didn't apologize at all, which they disowned their kids and helped pay compensation to the others for this.
    • Simon's Story: While Jack looked like he influenced Connie's behavior, she turns out to have always been this way because of her mother's influence and she actually abused Jack at home along cheating on him but she's actually not Simon's daughter due to him being infertile and her mother actually had an affair being Simon's back, which all led to her divorce and disownment.
  • Awesome: Yep, there's still moments of this trope:
    • Mike confronting Jeremiah: Not only does Mike comfort Cherry and understood that his own bully was pretty much trying to r**e her but he even calls the guy out on how pathetic he is as a bully and even knocks the guy out with only one punch to the face, leading to anyone out there cheering him on for that.
    • More coming soon.
  • Badass Adorable: Mike Smith is a cute and sweet-hearted young man you would want to date or even cuddle with but don't let that fool you, he still takes down animatronics too easily and not afraid of William Afton.
  • Beyond Redemption: Actually, this trope is for some jerks only:
    • Jeremiah Trunks: Not only does he never apologize for what he's done nor thanks Mike for saving him and Cherry but he also tries to defend his actions and even victim-blames Mike for being a pathetic loser in the 1st place, leading to Mike, Cherry, and their classmates to stand up to him and even the adults giving up on him.
    • Barney Gallows and Keery Evelin: When their true nature gets exposed, not only do they try to defend their affair but they also refuse to apologize for it and continue to selfishly blame their abuse victims for being too weak and pathetic to stand up to them while the former finally admits that he doesn't care about love and only wants money, causing not only their friends to turn against them but the former's parents to also angrily disown them and refuse to help him out.
    • More coming soon.
  • Big Bad: The 5th boss fight for each night usually serve as this and not the titular villain.
  • Bitch in Sheep's Clothing: A lot of characters are this:
    • Barney Gallows and Keery Evelin: At first glance, it may seem like a misunderstanding but they reveal their affair to be very real and show no remorse for it other than selfishly blaming Mary for it happening while admitting that the former was only marrying her to pay off his debts and the latter enjoys the thrill of stealing an already taken man, leading to their downfall of course.
    • Eric Liam: Downplayed; Yes, the ending narration exposes him as a cheating husband and deadbeat parent that was only paying alimony and compensation for his affair but is still a pleasant and remorseful man who wasn't proud of what he did and only paid them just to atone for betraying his own family and he was worried about his mistress facing heat for his actions, even if she didn't hold a grudge against him and fans still support him after that while they imply that he might have a reason for this.
  • Bittersweet Ending: Despite the jump scare at the end of the 2nd story, Mary and Lukas survived and escaped on time while reporting this to the police but despite this trauma that happened, the latter helped her out with the accusations against her by revealing Barney as a sleazy womanizer who's drowning in debt and was trying to use Mary to pay the debts off, leading to him getting fired, disowned, and even abandoned. Even more, her and Lukas got married instead and they are shown to be happy about it.
  • Bolivian Army Ending: More like bittersweet ending, Simon might've never been able to reconnect with his daughter Connie and still unable to get her respect but this turns out to be for the best because her now ex-husband Jack finally admits that he's also a victim of her too and she turns out to be Evil All Along, which they fortunately use proof against her to kick her out and it wasn't hard to do so due to Simon already figuring out that she's not really his daughter because he was infertile.
  • Bound and Gagged: Sometimes, this happens:
    • Mike's Story: Cherry is shown going through this after being kidnapped by William and used as bait for Mike, who still loves her enough to save her.
    • Mary's Story: She is going through this at the start of her shift until she's freed from this to do her shift, which is mostly due to being kidnapped by her story's Big Bad.
  • Complete Monsters: This story will have these:
    • William Afton/The Purple Guy: Just as always, William Afton is a sadistic murderer who murdered innocent children in the past for immortality and is now manipulating their spirits to possess animatronics and kill those that start working at Freddy's while forcing his former friend Henry into being an accomplice for him. Throughout the whole night, he never once shows concern for the animatronics and doesn't save them from Mike Smith at all but instead acts disappointed in them for their failure to kill Mike and kidnaps Cherry Roberts to use her as bait for Mike, deciding to do the job himself. When fighting Mike, he has a lot of fun hurting him and even taunting him over his constant failures while planning to finish Cherry nice and slow but ends up killing Henry by mistake after the redeemed man takes a bullet for Mike, not caring about his old partner's death but instead mocking him for going too soft on him. After being defeated and exposed by Mike, he shows his lack of remorse by insulting the animatronics as wretched rotten little beasts that he created and in his final moments before his death, he threatens to always come back. Even after his demise, Mike and Cherry do believe in his future return but promise to be ready to stop him again as they still watch him get dragged into the obvious pit of Hell, where the Puppet will be punishing him for his crimes.
    • Jack F. Kennedy/The Orange Man: Interestingly, Jack F. Kennedy is now just as bad as William and is also psychotic mastermind who kidnapped Mary to force her into helping guard the place and to use her as food for his animatronic creations while being the one who actually murdered the children at the factory and framed the original designs for that crime. Throughout the night, he hired Dave Miller to help him out with this and later killed him after he outlived his usefulness. Just like William, he also shows no concern for the animatronics but instead berates them for their failure to kill Mary and decides to make her death be more painful due to seeing her as special right now. Even when being defeated, he refuses to accept defeat and goes on a pathetic rant about how he should be worshipped, leading to Mary shutting him up by impaling him from behind with a wired spike. In his final moments before his passing, he just curses Mary and hopes that she dies, which she just leaves his corpse to be buried in the destroyed place.
    • Kevin Johnson/The Red Monster: Coming soon.
  • Darker and Edgier: Even more than the other installments due to the animatronics being controlled by a mastermind on each night, although some of them have quirky personalities.
  • Downer Ending: Other than being shot in the head by someone, Eric never got shot and just passed out but it's later revealed why he needed alimony: He had cheated on his wife and neglected his daughter to have an affair, which also explains their cold behavior towards him. Because of this, he got kicked out of his house and fired from a previous job but still got to move in with his mistress, still gets a new job, raising a new stepchild that respects him, and is paid compensation for his troubles.
  • Evil All Along: Despite Jack Carson being seen as a negative influence towards his wife Connie, he finally reveals that it was actually her that was this trope and even Simon remembers that she's always been an ungrateful spoiled brat since childhood or even teenage years due to her cheating mother's toxic influence but when she gets revealed as only a wicked stepdaughter instead, Simon had lost faith in redeeming her and rightfully kicks her out while Jack rightfully divorces her and sues her for damages.
  • Even Evil Has Loved Ones: Even the animatronics have this:
    • Fazbear Band: They seem to like each other and respect each other, despite Chica not caring much about Bonnie anyways and Foxy being a psychotic loner.
      • Chica's Crush: Surprisingly, Chica seems to sincerely love Mike and accepts no for an answer but still gives him a harmless kiss and winks at him while accepting her own fate with a proud smile at his bravery.
      • Foxy's Past: Same thing with Foxy, him and Mike were secretly friends back then and he also too doesn't hate Mike but gives him a fair fight and accepts his own fate as well.
    • Cindy and Penguin: They're the only nice members of their band and get along to the point of being seen as a mother and son duo or even big sister and little brother type, being concerned for each other.
      • Cindy's Flirting: Despite her flirting, Cindy seems to genuinely like Mary and flirts with her out of love instead of lust, which the latter seems to be flustered by it and flirts back as well to the point of having a warm-hearted fling.
      • Penguin's Kindness: He is genuinely friendly towards Cindy and doesn't harm her but instead sides with her and even sacrifices himself to save her, which she liked him too and even mourns his fate.
  • Even Evil Have Standards: Even the villains can have this:
    • Fazbear Band: Even they're disgusted that Jeremiah forced himself on Cherry just to hurt Mike, who had no idea about it.
      • Heck, even William Afton of all people wasn't pleased by this and actually looked at the jerk with disgust, showing that he might be a serial killer but ain't perverted creep.
    • Candy's Crew: Even he and his crew angrily hate Barney for being a womanizer and feel bad for Mary's heartbreak over it, not blaming her for wanting to call off the engagement with that creep.
      • Heck, it's even implied that even the loan sharks think that Barney is such a disgusting coward for trying use to Mary to pay off his debts, which this trope might be the reason why they're taking him away immediately because of how awful he is.
  • Everyone Has Standards: Of course, there's others that have this trope:
    • Jeremiah's Actions: Despite being implied to enjoy the bully's so-called jokes, even they were appalled by what he did to Cheryl and are even more disgusted that he showed no remorse for it, resulting in his own pals cutting off ties with him and apologizing to Mike for their behavior while even their principal angrily expels Jeremiah straight away.
    • Mary's Wrongdoers: While they did easily believe lies about her and Lukas, they end up being changing this behavior when finding out Barney and Keery's true nature along with being appalled by how Mary's parents didn't care at all about her suffering, making them not only apologize to the good couple for acting like this but also angrily cutting ties with the traitors and supporting the choice for Barney's parents to angrily disown him.
    • Eric's Former Family: Despite the hospital finding out about Eric's affair, they still dislike how his former family didn't care if he died or not to pay them alimony, making them rightfully kick the ungrateful jerks out of the room.
    • Vanessa's Proof: While her in-laws were originally on their kids' side and also didn't hear her out, they still end up being appalled by not only their daughter switching the babies at birth for selfish reasons but also the fact that their son isn't apologizing for his behavior for his behavior, leading to them apologizing to her and angrily disowning their kids.
    • Connie's True Nature: While Simon already expressed how ungrateful his stepdaughter is, he is still horrified to hear that she also secretly abused Jack as well and even comforted when seeing him tearfully complain about hating her right now, which Jack himself is also secretly appalled by how Connie treated her stepdad and decided to help him stand up to that brat.
  • Freudian Excuse: It's been implied that the reason for Eric cheating on Audrey was because she and Zoey were already cold towards him before the affair and never showed gratitude for his hard work while it's also been implied that he's infertile and that Zoey really isn't his daughter but instead Audrey had an affair as well and unlike Eric, she shows no remorse for what she did and was willing to cover it up to protect her image and ego while trying to paint him as the bad guy.
  • Gold Digger: Barney Gallows' true motive for wanting to marry Mary; He's drowning in debt and wants to use her to pay off the debts but only ruins his plan by cheating on her and blaming her for it, causing her to dump him and leaving him to pay it off himself.
  • Hate Sink: There's obviously those that are still unlikable:
    • Jeremiah Trunks: Surprisingly, you can't hate William Afton because he still has cool villain moments and was already meant to be evil from the start but you can definitely hate Jeremiah Trunks for being an abusive Jerk Jock that bullies Mike for no reason other than for fun and a disgusting creep who forced himself on Cherry, which even William hates this bully.
    • Barney Gallows and Keery Evelin: Again, you can't hate Jack F. Kennedy because he seems like a cool villain and is way too awesome to hate but you can definitely hate this couple for having an affair behind Mary's back and how they showed no remorse for it other than selfishly blaming her for the affair happening and the true reasons for staying with her: The former wanted her to pay off his debts and the latter just likes messing with couples for fun and thrills.
    • Mikhail Schmidt and Sharon Frey: Oh boy, not only is the former an abusive and paranoid husband and father that hates his son for not looking like him but the latter is the reason for this due to callously switching babies at birth because she wanted a daughter instead of a son and they both even planned on cruelly sending Gregory to an orphanage just to get rid of him, not even apologizing for this and this led to them getting disowned, divorced, and even arrested for this.
    • Connie Blaze: At first, it seemed like Jack Carson is part of this trope for influencing her but this turns out to not be the case and this girl has actually always been a toxic and ungrateful spoiled brat in the past who never warms up to Simon and treats Jack very shamefully while having been influenced by her equally horrible mother, who had actually cheated on Simon in the past and it's revealed that Connie isn't his real daughter because Simon's infertile.
  • Heartwarming: Even in these stories, there are still moments of this:
    • Mike and Cheryl: Not only do these 2 manage to survive the night but this Awesome trope ends up becoming this trope instead when they make amends over the misunderstanding the earlier day and even confess to each other as an actual couple, making you want to cheer for them and cry tears of happiness.
    • Mary and Lukas' Marriage: Despite the Bittersweet Ending, they are still confirmed to have survived and not only does the latter help the former stand up to her wrongdoers but the fact that they fall in love with each other and get married along with the latter clearing her name and standing up for her just makes the audience want to attend the wedding and cheer for them.
      • On that note, her former in-laws standing up for her and disowning their son is also very sweet of them to do since they're nothing like their horrible son and even adopt her after they already saw that her parents weren't better people at all, making you want to hug them in gratitude and wonder how such a good couple could have a horrible son.
    • Eric's Determination: Despite how badly his wife and daughter treats him over one affair, Eric still went out of his way on life and limb to help pay alimony, making you just forgive the guy and scold the family for their ungratefulness towards him.
      • On that note, his mistress and new boss helping him out and even caring for him shows that not everybody hates him and can actually be understanding of his situation, showing him that he can't be hated for one mistake he made.
    • More coming soon.
  • Karma Houdini: Some unlikable characters have gotten this:
    • Jeremiah Trunks: Downplayed; He never gets killed by the animatronics nor the killer due to not encountering them but he does get angrily rejected by Cherry, punched in the face by Mike, and even permanently expelled from school for what he did, showing this trope to be downplayed and he will also probably get his family mad at him.
    • Barney Gallows and Keery Evelin: Also downplayed; They might've not gotten killed by the plot nor arrested for what they did to Marry but they did get exposed as the true cheaters and their families disowned them for what they did along with the fact that the former probably didn't pay his debts in time and the loan sharks are after him now
    • Audrey Toni and Zoey: Despite having every right to leave Eric, they still should've been scolded for not caring about his life and only about the compensation along with being implied to be the reason he cheated but it's been implied by fans that they might not do great on their own without him to help them out and he might use an infertility test to prove that his wife might've been cheating first without remorse, showing they might still not be doing so good.
  • Oh God, What Have I Done: A lot of people will regret stuff that they have done:
    • Cheryl's Kiss: Despite it not being her fault, she still looks remorseful upon Mike seeing Jeremiah kissing her and causing him to run away, especially since she felt that she should've fought back against him.
      • However, Mike has this as well for not realizing that she was being assaulted by his bully, even if she tries to calm him down.
    • Mary's Parents: Despite not apologizing for their behavior, they at least seem to be saddened when she angrily disowns them for taking her ex's side and when they finally see the true motive for the former marriage, only having to live with regret for their abusive behavior and wishing she can hear their apologies.
      • On that note, everyone else also showed remorse when seeing the cheating couple's true natures, fortunately apologizing.
    • Eric's Divorce: Not only did Eric actually have remorse for his adultery and even wanted to warn the viewers about it but his own daughter starts to have this after realizing that he might've not deserved loneliness and can be shown crying in remorse for siding with her mother, especially when the lady hits her.
      • On that note, Ayuko and her kids took notice of Kenya accepting his faults and wanting to move on from his mistake, which leads his now ex-wife to now show remorse for how cold she was acting over only one affair that he was having and this increases when now believing that this kind of behavior might be the reason for why he went to that hotel while her own kids also regret what they said to him but they all accepted it was too late to call off a divorce and can only live with regret of treating him badly while also asking the mistress to please take good care of him and are last seen hoping that they can talk things out.
    • More coming soon.
  • Plot Twist: There will be some of it:
    • Cherry's Choice: Despite it being obvious, her choosing Mike is still seen as this due to how he only saw her choosing Jeremiah over him but she still does confirm that she loves Mike instead and warns him that Jeremiah was forcing himself on her right in front of him, which she had accurate evidence of it and it doesn't help that Jerk Jock himself admitted it without remorse.
    • Barney's Debts: While he's already revealed as an unfaithful womanizer, his own secret debts are treated like a plot twist and he ends up confirming that's why he wanted to marry Mary, which this reveal leads to his engagement being called off.
    • Eric's Infidelity: Despite being the protagonist of his story, it was shocking to hear that he cheated on his wife and neglected his daughter in the past, which is why his family was cold towards him but he still shows remorse for it.
    • Sharon's Misdeeds: At first, it seems like Gregory really is the son of Mikhail and Vanessa while his father was just assuming stuff based on terrible gossip but it's revealed that he's their nephew instead and his real mom switched him and his cousin at birth because she didn't want a son and only wanted a daughter to spoil rotten, leading to her getting disowned and arrested but her own brother also gets punished too for never apologizing for his behavior and it's implied that he was in on this as well.
    • Jack's Innocence: Despite him being seen as a horrible influence on his own wife, it's actually revealed that he's a victim of her abuse and cheating while being sympathetic towards his father-in-law and wanted to secretly warn him that his daughter was at fault along with revealing that Simon is actually infertile and isn't Connie's father, revealing that Connie's mother was cheating on him and spoiling her daughter rotten as this leads to them befriending each other and kicking her out of the family.
  • The Scrappy: Audrey Toni and her daughter Zoey were written to be sympathetic in the plot twist of Eric being the one cheating on the former and neglecting the latter but they still come across as an ungrateful family to him that never appreciates how he at least feels bad for what he did and how risked his own life just to get alimony and compensation money for them, especially how they didn't care that he nearly got killed over it. Because of this, no one can blame him for cheating.
  • Tearjerker: There will still be this:
    • Mike's Reaction: While he doesn't want it to be a big deal, Mike seeing the kiss between his crush and his bully can still be something to be heartbroken by and this could be understood as such by those that might've have gone through this before, even if it's later revealed that the bully was forcing himself on the crush.
      • On that note, Cheryl has this trope too due to how she liked Mike back and wanted to confess to him but that jerk Jeremiah ruined it via forcing the kiss on her and causing Mike to nearly lose his feelings for her, making you want to give her a hug.
    • Mary's Heartbreak: Despite us already seeing the affair in the preview, Mary's reaction to it is still heartbreaking and this increases when not only the traitors callously admits it without any remorse for their actions nor any concern for how she felt but also the fact that them and their so-called friends have the nerve to selfishly victim-blame her for this while her parents still force her to marry such a scumbag, making you want to hug her in sympathy and angrily stand up to her wrongdoers.
      • On that note, Lukas' reveal as a supporting big brother for his own sister can be seen as this due to how ungrateful she is to him and all the things she said about him were lies due to being embarrassed by him, making you want to call her out on this.
    • Eric's Karma: Even if it's revealed that Eric cheated on his wife and neglected his daughter in the past, he still felt bad for what he did and he redeemed himself by risking his life to pay alimony, leaving his ending only sad and undeserved.
      • On that note, his mistress also got hate for this and yet still remains supportive of him, making you want to comfort her too for just wanting to love a suffering man that cared about her too.
    • Vanessa's Marriage: No matter how concerning it is for her son to be her husband's child, it's still upsetting how the guy treats those 2 and how he even wants to cruelly send the poor kid to an orphanage for something that wasn't the kid's fault in the first place, making you just want to hug them in comfort and actually understand why she would ever cheat on such a horrible man that is willing to be that cruel towards them without any care for them and all of this is because he didn't want to love a kid that doesn't look like him in the first place.
      • To make matters worse, not only did his sister cause this by swapping babies at birth due to some shocking twisted mindset of hers but he also never apologizes for his behavior either and even tries to move on from this as if it never happened, which makes you feel bad for how the in-laws and kids has to those 2 for the monsters they are.
    • Simon's Life: Oh man, his life is full of this as not only does his wife and daughter treat him terrible for selfish reasons but other people out there never help him out with that problem, making you want to give him some therapy.
      • And to make things more saddening, it turns out that the son-in-law Jack is also suffering from the daughter's abuse as well and was forced to be snobbish by her in order to help the man out, making you want to hug Jack for having to tolerate that.
  • Ungrateful Bastard: Some characters are this:
    • Jeremiah Trunks: Despite Mike saving Cherry, Jeremiah never thanks him for that but instead acts jealous about his rival being the one to save her, which ends up making sense as he's the one who didn't save her when she was getting kidnapped and only wanted to save her just to get her attention, much to everyone's disgust.
    • Barney Gallows and Keery Evelin: Despite Mary helping them throughout their lives out of kindness and care for them, they've never shown gratitude for it and still cheat behind her back while admitting that they'll never care for her and even if she was willing to help the former get out of debt with the loan sharks, they still refuse to care at all about her own happiness or even her own safety at all and this unsurprisingly led to their downfall.
    • Audrey Toni and Zoey Meatonette: Despite Eric redeeming himself via risking his life to pay alimony and compensation for what he did, these 2 still just only care about the payment and never once show concern for his injuries while also downright thinking his situation was karma for what he did, which even the hospital staff were enraged by this and rightfully kicked them out for such awful behavior towards a patient.
    • Mikhail Schmidt: Even if Vanessa and Gregory still cared about him and even tried to love him, he never once tries to care about them and still hates them for something he's accusing his wife of, leading the former to later divorce him for this.
    • Connie Blaze: Not matter how much Simon provided for her or how much Jack wanted to trust her, she is still downright awful to them and never changes her ways, leading to them understandably leaving her and cutting off ties with her.
  • Unintentionally Sympathetic: Yes, Eric Liam is portrayed as a cheating husband and horrible parent that owes his family alimony or compensation but he does show remorse for what he did and felt bad for not mentioning the reason why his family were mad at him along with never asking what he did wrong and instead accepting his own downfall was his own fault for cheating while him and his mistress living in a bad apartment is also treated as way too far since he risked his own life to pay them back and they just only kicked him out without any concern for his health and safety, making it no wonder he didn't like them.
    • On that note, Kenya from Manga Waido is also treated as this in the story because he might've been revealed as a cheater who simply forgot his affair with the lady he saved after getting hit by a truck but he still only got upset with his family for thinking his injury was well-deserved and his wife is possibly the jealous type that is only upset that he saved the mistress from the truck while the affair was a one-time thing and he never once tried to justify it, making his ending only a sad one and not really deserved to the point that you just want to help him out and to give him advice on how to redeem his horrible mistake.
  • Unintentionally Unsympathetic: Yes, Audrey and Zoey have every right to be mad at Eric for his affair and deadbeat behavior but the thing is that they still come across as ungrateful and uncaring towards him after he expressed remorse for what he did and risked his own life and safety to get it, which flashbacks imply that they were already like this before the affair and it's possibly the reason why he did that in the first place while it's also implied that they were merely offended instead of caring about it.
    • Same reason as Kenya from Manga Waido, Ayuko might've had every right to be upset with him for cheating on her and somehow forgetting about it but the thing is that she does come across as the jealous type and even encouraged her kids to agree with her about him deserving his injury while she also seemed more upset that he saved a different women and if she was the one driving that truck, this makes her a Karma Houdini that should be arrested for hit and run along with attempted murder and wellfare endangerment. Yes, she was supposed to be sympathetic but many fans could still hate her for this behavior and even scold her for being so callous towards him along with expecting him to remember a mistake that he had genuinely forgotten.
  • Villain Protagonist: Downplayed; Eric Liam might be a cheating husband and horrible parent who had done wrong this whole time but he's still no villain and is just atoning for what he did since he at least admits it without being proud of it.
  • Yandere: Chica and Cindy are this towards Mike and Mary respectively, much to the former's shock and confusion but the latter's nervousness and delight.
