Ashura the Hedgehog (2014)

Ashura the Hedgehog is a 2014 animated/live-action film and a remake of the 1992 sprite movie of the same name. It features Ashura, Amy Rose, Sonic and many more characters from the famous Ashura the Hedgehog franchise. It is the twelfth film in the Ashura movie series.

Plot

Ashura the Hedgehog is on a mission to protect Mobius from the Evil Master. On his journey, he encounters many characters, some who are friendly, some who are evil. However, Dr. Robotnik is roboticizing Mobians and making them his robot slaves. Can Ashura stop Dr. Robotnik and the Evil Master?

Sonic, another main character. He is voiced by Roger Craig Smith.

Amy Rose, another main character. She is voiced by Cindy Robinson.

Naomi, a secondary character. She is voiced by Lisa Ortiz.

Voltage, a secondary character. He is voiced by Michael McGaharn.

Dr. Robotnik, one of the main villains. He is voiced by Gary Chalk.

Janella, Ashura's mother. She is a supporting character and she is voiced by Lani Minella.

Tails, a secondary character. He is voiced by Conner Bringas.

Production

In mid-2011, just after the release of the ninth Ashura film, Blue Quill started work on an unnamed project codenamed "Ashura Reloaded". By 2012, filming and animation had started. On January 17, 2013, an article revealing major details was published in SEGARules New Year Edition 2013. The movie will be released in 2014.
