Styracosaurus laniger (name meaning "woolly spiked lizard") is a species of large light blue and white-colored feathery herbivorous ceratopsian dinosaur that original lived from the Cretaceous Period (Campanian stage), about 75.5 to 75 million years ago and was once extinct, but has since been brought back from extinction by SciiFii and now lives in Cretaceous Safari located at Cretaceous Park. It has four to six long parietal spikes extending from its neck frill, a smaller jugal horn on each of its cheeks, and a single horn protruding from its nose, which can grow up to 60 centimetres (2 feet) long and 15 centimetres (6 inches) wide. The horns of Styracosaurus laniger are used for fighting rivals of their species and frills are used for display and to intimidate predators. Styracosaurus laniger is a relatively large dinosaur, reaching lengths of 5.5 metres (18 feet) and weighing nearly 3 tonnes. It stands about 1.8 meters (5.9 feet) tall. Styracosaurus laniger possesses four short legs and a bulky body. Its tail is rather short. The skull has a beak and shearing cheek teeth arranged in continuous dental batteries, allowing the animal to slice up plants. Like many other ceratopsians, this dinosaur is a herd animal, travelling in large groups.
