Stagnant-Fear The Night

After two years of recording, Stagnant emerged in 1996 with Fear The Night, a powerfully macabre and brooding album that is by far one of their harder records.

Fear The Night is the fourth album from American metal band Stagnant, released on June 30th 1996. It is the band's first to be produced through K.I.L.L. Records Ltd., after they left Batched Records in 1995. It preceded by 1994's Nightmares and Despair, which it is regarded as a continuation onto Fear The Night, and is followed by 1997's Rust, Due to be released at the same time as Metallica's Load, Stagnant had to compete for rankings. They did reasonably well, ranking second to Metallica. They also competed with Rust against Metallica's ReLoad in '97.
