Summary[]
When an egg in Chamberlain, Maine is unearthed, Lord Zedd and Rita Repulsa release the creature inside, Ivan Ooze. Zordon trapped him inside six thousands of years ago, so Ivan leaves to seek revenge. Ivan destroys the interior of the Command Center, almost killing Zordon, weakening and slightly fraying Alpha 5, and causing the Power Rangers to lose their powers. The Power Rangers must go on a quest to find new Ninja powers on Phaedos, granted to them by Dulcea.

The galaxy and the camera flies forward in the stars with the voice narrating.
Centuries ago, a legendary interdimensional being known as Zordon came to the City of Chamberlain, Maine to establish a Command Center for his never-ending struggle against evil.
With the aid of his trusted assistant, Alpha 5, the noble master sought out six extraordinary teenagers and gave them the power to transform into a superhuman fighting force. In time of great need, the young heroes could use their powers to call upon colossal assault vehicles known as Zords.
The identity of the six remained a guarded secret. Today, that tradition continues…

Chamberlain, Maine is holding a charity carnival to save the local observatory in time for the arrival of Ryan's Comet, which is set to pass by Earth in three days. As a prop plane whisking across the deep blue sky.
The six Tidmouth Teens/Power Rangers: David Carmody (Jamie Blackley), Carrie White (Chloë Grace Moretz), Tommy Ross (Ansel Elgort), Sue Snell (Gabriella Wilde), George Dawson (Demetrius Joyette) and Freddy Holt (Connor Price) sport sleek sky diving suits, parachute packs and helmets. Among the events was a skydiving competition, which, with the skydiving team.
Tommy: *stood up & turned around to them* Whoo-hoo! Come on. We’re out of here.
Carrie: *stood up & smiled* Easy, Tommy.
David: *stood up* We’re 15 seconds to the drop zone.
Sue, George & Freddy were happy, yelled, and stood up.
The four kids Chris Hargensen (Portia Doubleday), her boyfriend: Billy Nolan (Alex Russell), her friends: Tina Blake (Zoë Belkin) and Jackie Talbot (Max Topplin), they stood up & push their way through the Rangers, decked in bizarre skydiving regalia, topped off by World War II leather caps and aviator goggles.
Chris: All right, guys. The Stealth Eagle is about to fly.
Billy and Jackie (both): Yeah!
Tina: *nodded yes* Ditto for the Swooping Swallow!
The Rangers exchange amused looks.
Sue: *gestured to them* Well, lead on, flyguys.
Chris, Billy, Tina and Jackie nodded yes, Jackie swagger to the door and open it the ground is a dizzying distance below. They swallowed hard, shocked, and gasped.
Jackie: That’s a lot of air!
Billy: No way!
Chris: After you, Tina.
Tina: What, are you crazy? This was your idea.
Carrie: Hey, guys.
Carrie stood behind them.
Tina: Huh?
Chris, Billy, Tina and Jackie turned to Carrie.
Carrie: You might want to slip those on.
The four of them slip, Chris, Billy, Tina and Jackie exchange looks and nods yes.
Chris and Billy (both): Good Idea.
Tina and Jackie (both): Good Idea.
Chris, Billy, Tina and Jackie step aside, Carrie smiles.
Freddy: *looks down at his watch* We’re 3 seconds away from the target zone.
Sue puts on her helmet and launches herself.
Pilot Man: Sue, you’re on.
Sue: *turned her head* Yes. *looks down* Challenge! *jumps down into the air*
George: On your tail! *did his helmet & jumps down into the air*
Freddy: Systems go! *did his helmet & jumps down into the air*
Tommy: Bonsai! *did his helmet & jumped down & flipped into the air* Whoo-hoo!
Carrie and David on the helmets, they see them down, David and Carrie share an infectious glance, Carrie a hand, indicating David should go first.
Carrie: *turned to David* Show them your stuff.
David: You got it. *jumps down into the air* Surf’s up! Yeah!
David’s surf’s up, Carrie stands backwards in the doorway, she turned around and saw them.
Carrie: *thumbs up* Catch you on the flip side. *jumps down into the air*
Rock and roll fills the track as the Rangers plunge towards earth, executing a series of mind-boggling maneuvers: spins, fishtails, power dives, back flips, you name it. The Rangers pull off more spectacular maneuvers then swoop together. Freddy smiled and turned around.
Tommy: *smiled* Yeah. All right. *turned his head*
The Rangers interlocking hands and forming a perfect circle. They look to one another and a moment of pure magic passes between them. It's not usual the exhilaration of flight they're sharing, it's the exhilaration of togetherness, of being part of a team, Carrie smiled & turned, George smiled & turned.
David: *nodded yes* Ok, let's break.
They disperse and yank their rip-cords, the sky bursts of life with six blossoming parachutes white, pink, red, yellow, blue and black in color.

Families eat hot dogs and cotton candy at a huge fundraiser. A large banner proclaims "SAVE THE OBSERVATORY." We see diving teams with labeled uniforms the BOWLING TEAM, CHAMBERLAIN, MAINE P.D. and the FIRE DEPARTMENT. There’s a large white "BULLSEYE" spray-painted on the grass. The city's spectacular large skyline rises out of the b.g.
The radio: With the arrival of Ryan’s Comet just two days away, the Chamberlain, Maine jump-a-thon will breathe new life into the old observatory.
CHAMBERLAIN, MAINE JUMP-A-THON SAVE THE OBSERVATORY!
People arrive at the Chamberlain, Maine jump-a-thon, everyone is much more.
The radio: Tickets to see the comet are available. Now here comes the team from Chamberlain, Maine High!
[Cheering]
Everyone was cheering, they were coming, they were clapping. People’s recording and photographs to all phones. Everyone held signs urging people to repent like “Thomas Ewen High School”.
Rita Desjaridn (Judy Greer), was looking up at them, as she, her student: Erika Gogan (Mouna Traoré), Heather Shyers (Samantha Weinstein), Brian Maxwell (Chord Overstreet), Norma Watson (Liana Liberato), The Watson Twins: Nicki & Lizzy (Karissa and Katie Starin), Matt Burkley (Tom Holland) and Dawn Swanson (Madeline Carroll) were the Tidmouth Teens and her godmother: Annie Jenks (Millicent Simmonds), is deaf and sign language, they were looking up at them. Rita's left shoulder to Annie’s right shoulder.
Annie: All right, Auntie Rita.*turned to Rita, Erika, Heather, Brian, Norma, Nicki, Lizzy, Matt and Dawn* Pay close attention. This is how the pros do it.
Desjaridn: I didn’t do so bad.
Annie: You landed in the parking lot. It was embarrassing.
Erika: Well...
Desjaridn, Annie, Erika, Heather, Brian, Norma, Nicki Lizzy, Matt and Dawn looked up at them coming.
The radio: The first of the team is beginning his final approach. It’s George! He rounds the turn, and he pulls up to hit the target dead center.
Maine on target, George touches down flawlessly and clears to land, as the crowd clapped, cheered and applauded.
The radio: Right behind him is skydiver Freddy, who manages a perfect landing!
Freddy touches down flawlessly and clears to land, as the crowd clapped, cheered and applauded.
The radio: Skydiver number three is Carrie. What a landing!
The radio: Here comes Tommy… who lands right on target!
Tommy touches down flawlessly and clears to land, as Desjaridn, Annie, Erika, Heather, Brian, Norma, Nicki, Lizzy, Matt and Dawn and the others clapped, cheered and applauded.
The radio: And here comes Sue.
Sue touches down flawlessly and clears to land.
The radio: She makes it a perfect five-out-of-five landing! That ties the record. It’s all up to David. Can he make it six-for-six?
They look up at David to come in.
Annie: YEAH! GO DAVID!
The radio: He’s taking his final approach. Looks a bit wide, but still ok. Almost to the ground now. Can he do it? He does!
David touches down flawlessly and clears to land, as Desjaridn, Annie, Erika, Heather, Brian, Norma, Nicki, Lizzy, Matt and Dawn and the others continued to clap for David.
The radio: It's a new city record! Way to go, David!
David slowly on the ground. Annie turned & high handed to Desjaridn, Erika, Heather, Brian, Norma, Nicki Lizzy, Matt & Dawn as Annie pointed to David.
Desjardin: Ok.
Desjardin and Annie approached David. As Desjardin, Annie, Erika, Heather, Brian, Norma, Nicki, Lizzy, Matt and Dawn approaches Carrie, Sue, Tommy, George and Freddy, David is off to the helmet, he turns to Annie and Desjardin.
Annie: Looking good up there.
David: Thanks, Annie *he and Annie xchange stylish hand slaps* Maybe next time you can join us.
Annie: Really? *turned to Rita* Could I?
Desjardin: We’ll talk about that, Annie, in about 10 or 12 years.
Annie smiled, David placed right hand on Annie’s left shoulder, David smiled and turned to Desjardin handshake him.
Desjardin: Hey, congratulations, David. The observatory just got a new lease on life. *thumbs up*
David: Yeah, thanks, Miss Desjardin.
David and Miss Desjardin turned to Annie.
Annie: Ryan’s Comet is passing over in two days.
Carrie, Sue, Tommy, George, Freddy, Erika, Heather, Brian, Norma, Nicki, Lizzy, Matt and Dawn approach David, Annie and Desjardin.
Carrie: Guys, we did it.
Sue: That was awesome, David.
Erika/Heather/Brian/Norma/Nicki/Lizzy/Matt/Dawn (all): Yeah!
David: Thanks, guys. You, too, Annie.
Freddy: Has anybody seen Chris, Billy, Tina and Jackie? *looked around up at the sky*
Annie, Desjardin and David looked up at Chris, Billy, Tina and Jackie.
Sue: William's is serving free desert with lunch. They probably landed on the roof.
David, Carrie, Sue, Tommy, George, Erika, Freddy, Heather, Brian, Norma, Nicki, Lizzy, Matt, Dawn, Annie, and Desjardin were laughing.
Later, on Plane Day, as a prop plane whisking across the deep blue sky.
Pilot Man: You guys better hurry up and jump. We’re running out of fuel.
Chris, Billy, Tina and Jackie psyche themselves up.
Chris: I’m going to be the Eagle!
Tina: Be the swallow! *put on her helmet* Be the swallow.
Billy: Come on, guys.
They take deep breaths then charge the door. They get stuck, wedged shoulder to shoulder.
Chris and Billy (both): Aah!
Tina and Jackie (both): Aah!
Chris, Billy, Tina and Jackie jump down into the air.
Tina: Hey, hey, let go of us!
Jackie: I want my mommy!
Chris, Billy, Tina and Jackie rotate into frame. Now, facing straight down they fall into the camera, clinging to each other desperately.
