- The film's title is a play on and is a reference to the former Tomorrowland attraction at Magic Kingdom, Stitch's Great Escape! (2004).
- On May 1, 2020, it was announced that Sony Pictures Home Entertainment had taken over home video distribution after Universal Pictures Home Entertainment dropped out of all future Zachary, Grace and Lexia films due to the studio no longer releasing movies in AMC Theatres in response to the streaming success of Trolls World Tour (2020).
- This was originally the last Zachary, Grace and Lexia film to use the 2012 Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer logo before CPMB: Aztec Adventure, Respect (2021) and Trapped in the Shed: Birthday Wish would debut the 2021 logo.
- However, the 2012 logo appeared on Trapped in the Shed: The Last Stand and some prints of No Time to Die (2021), making them both the last films to use the logo before it was retired.
